What is “Market”? Why are there several balances?
Market is a mode on CS.MONEY where you can sell and buy items from other users, as well as make Instant sales and purchases. Using Steam Session Cookies, we create the trade offer between the seller and the buyer and monitor the skin delivering process.
Why are there several balances on the Market?
Steam added a Trade Protection system: a completed trade can be canceled within 7 days. Read more on Steam.
That’s why we hold funds for 8 days — to make sure the trade isn’t canceled and to protect both sides of the deal.
There are several types of balances on the Market. They depend on where the funds came from and define how and when they can be used. Instant buy balance comes from an Instant Sale. You can spend it right away on items with Instant Delivery, but withdraw it only after 8 days. Funds from a regular P2P sale on the Market can be spent and withdrawn only after 8 days.
Market Balance
This is your main balance, which you can use for any purchases on the Market.
It includes:

Top-up funds — funds you deposited. They can be spent on any items, but cannot be withdrawn.

Funds from Instant sell (after 8 days) — funds from an Instant Sale that become part of the Market balance when 7 day Trade Protection ends.

Funds from recent P2P sales (after 8 days) — funds from a regular P2P sale that became part of the Market balance after confirming the trade in the mobile app or extension.
Instant buy balance
This balance appears right after an Instant sale.

For the first 8 days it can be used only for buying items with Instant delivery (filter “Delivery speed — Instant”, item card tag “1 min”).

After 8 days it automatically becomes part of your Market Balance and is available for any purchases and withdrawals.
Income from recent P2P sales
This balance appears after a regular P2P sale.

For the first 8 days the funds are on hold and unavailable.

After 8 days you need to open the mobile app→”Offers” page or browser extension to confirm the trade. Once confirmed, the funds become part of your Market balance and are available for any purchases and withdrawals.
Withdrawals
You can only withdraw funds received from sales (Instant sale or regular P2P sale).

Top-up funds cannot be withdrawn — it can only be used for purchases.

Funds from sales become available for withdrawal only 8 days after the trade is completed.

For a regular sale you also need to confirm the trade in the CS.MONEY mobile app or browser extension after 8 days from delivering the item to a buyer.
