You’ll get a notification that your item has been successfully sold. After that, you’ll need to complete the trade.
I got a notification that someone bought my item. How do I complete the trade?
Note:
A few minutes after the buyer confirms the trade you created in Steam, the money will move to the “Income from recent P2P sales” category, where it will stay for eight days (after that, it will be transferred to your Market balance). If this section isn’t updated within 15 minutes after a successful trade, refresh the Market page.
First method: browser extension.
- Go to the notification center by clicking the bell icon at the top of the page. Install our browser extension and log in through your Steam account:
- Create the trade and confirm it in the Steam mobile app:
- Wait for the buyer to confirm the trade. Once that happens, the deal is complete:
