What is the Online/Offline status? How does it work?
The Online status means that all items you listed for sale are visible and available to buyers.
The Offline status hides your listed items from buyers but keeps them in your selling list. While you are Offline, your items are hidden, and no one can purchase them. The faster you respond to new trades, the higher your seller rating becomes. That’s why it’s best to switch to Offline if you know you’ll be unavailable for a while. This way, you can maintain your seller rating.
How can I change my status?
You can change your status in the sidebar menu of the Market mode by clicking the Online/Offline switch. It always shows your current status. If you close the site tab, your status will remain Online until you manually change it:

Why was my status switched to Offline?
The status automatically switches to Offline if:
- You didn’t send the item to the buyer within 12 hours.
- Your account was restricted on CS.MONEY.
- Your account was banned on Steam.
- You hid your inventory on Steam, have an inactive Steam Guard, or your trade link is outdated.
- You revoked permission to use Steam Session Cookies in your account settings.
Why can’t I switch my status to Online?
To switch to Online, you must:
- Have a public Steam profile and inventory.
- Provide a valid Trade URL in your account settings.
- Allow the use of Steam Session Cookies in your account settings.
- Have an active Steam Guard mobile authenticator.
If any of these conditions are not met, or your account is restricted either on CS.MONEY or on Steam, you won’t be able to switch to Online.
