Nuke is one of the oldest maps in Counter-Strike 2. A true classic, and on such a map, everyone should at least know the basic grenades. The CS.MONEY Blog will tell you about the most important grenades on Nuke.

Smokes for Outside

The most important set of grenades for attacking is the smokes that let you control outside. First of all, there’s a pair of smokes that cover the path from Red to Secret. They’re easy to throw: stand by the truck, aim first at the wire on the wall and do a jumpthrow, then aim at the corner of the window and do another jumpthrow.
Molotov for Secret

An aggressive defender might take a position at the entrance to Secret and block the way. You can flush them out safely with a molotov thrown from behind the barrel. Stand on the yellow stripes by the barrel, aim at the vent on the wall, and make a running throw. Together with the smokes, this almost guarantees control of the B site.
Molotov for Hut

There are also key grenades for going A. One molotov can force the defender out of Hut. Break the windows above the A site, climb the ladder, aim at the white zone on the wall, and do a running jumpthrow. With a bit of practice, you’ll be hitting it every time.
Flash for A Site

Another important grenade is the flash from Squeaky. First, you have to blow open the door, then stand in the corner of the doorframe, aim between the boxes, and do a jumpthrow. If you do it right, the flash will blind the players in Heaven.
Flash for Ramp

You can also attack the B site through Ramp. Defenders often fall back from Ramp down to B. To blind them, stand by the wall, aim at the lamp, and make a regular throw. This flash won’t blind your teammates coming from Radio, but it works perfectly against defenders on Ramp.
Molotov for B Dark

After going down Ramp, throw a molotov into the Dark to clear the spot. Stand by the steel beam on the wall, aim at the fire extinguisher handle, and make a regular throw — the fire will cover the entire hiding area.
Defensive Flash for Outside

Controlling outside is important for defense, too. One player can push up to the barrel, and the other can throw a flash. Stand in the corner, aim about halfway along the wire, and do a jumpthrow. The flash will pop deep under the barrel, blinding the attackers.
Molotov for Squeaky

To defend the A site, use a molotov to block the exit from Squeaky. Stand at the edge of Heaven, aim at the zone above the white stripe on the yellow beam, and do a running throw. If the door is broken, the molotov will go deeper, but it will still cut off the exit.
Flash for A Retake

From the same spot in Heaven, you can throw a flash for retaking A. Stand in the corner, aim almost at the edge of the hatch, and make a regular throw — the flash will explode under the edge of Heaven, blinding everyone looking that way.
Flash for Radio Push

A push through Radio is another aggressive move for defenders. The flash explodes in the Trophy room, blinding all attackers who are getting ready to take Ramp. While running, aim at the white square and make a regular throw — the flash will arrive just in time.
Nuke is a complex and interesting map. The windows above A offer creative possibilities, while outside requires skilled use of grenades. We hope our guide helps you win your next match!
