The Canals Collection is inspired by the map of the same name, which in turn takes its inspiration from the most famous city on water, Venice. The Collection includes 18 amazing skins, each reflecting the spirit of the legendary Italian city.
MAG-7 Cinquedea
The Cinquedea is a broad dagger that originated from northern Italy, specifically Venice. The name translates as “five fingers,” referring to the unique width of the blade, which at its base is as wide as five fingers. This triangular dagger was carried by both common citizens and nobles, often adorned with ivory handles or engravings on the blade itself.
Though MAG-7 is as short as a dagger, MAG-7 Cinquedea has little to do with the actual weapon. Instead, its appearance resembles the ornate interiors of Italian cathedrals. The decorative elements along the sides of the gun look more like ceramics than steel or polymers, giving the skin a unique character.
AWP The Prince
The rarest skin in The Canals Collection, AWP The Prince, boasts a regal design. The red base is like the tunic of a Roman emperor, while gold and Latin text adorn the top. At first glance, it might seem that it has little to do with Venice, but upon closer inspection, you can find subtle references.
The scope is decorated with crosses, a design element reminiscent of the famous Doge’s Palace in Venice. Additionally, the Latin inscription “Pax tibi, Marce, evangelista meus” refers to Saint Mark, the patron of Venice, whose lion graces the city’s flag.

The remaining new skins from The Canals Collection can be grouped by similar names and themes. One group includes three skins inspired by the jewelry technique of filigree.

It was a true treasure, with its production secrets guarded at a state level; attempting to sell these secrets was punishable by death! The final branch of skins in the Collection is Baroque. As the name suggests, their appearance reflects the Baroque architectural style, known for its grandeur, symmetry, and lavish ornamentation.
