Valentine’s Day is a great occasion to treat someone with a gift. Luckily, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community doesn’t exclusively consist of guys. If your better half likes scoring headshots in deathmatches or rushing B in competitive mode, she’ll surely appreciate a couple of skins matching the event. The CS.MONEY Blog is going to tell you which weapon finishes are the best picks for the occasion.
USP-S Cortex
Let’s start with the cutest USP-S skin ever: the Cortex. Even though this gun features a skeleton and sprawling brains, there’s no denying its incredibly cuteness. Just look at the face of this bony guy — or the gentle hue of his brains! We suggest buying the item in Minimal Wear condition, which would cost about nine dollars.
Glock-18 Bullet Queen
Among the looks of the standard T pistol, we opted for the Glock-18 Bullet Queen. This chic finish is decorated with a mischievous war-prone lady in a pink vest, accompanied by a couple of formidable bullets. A badass design that’ll make a perfect addition to any collection. Because the skin tolerates float growth rather well, you can get a Minimal Wear or even Field-Tested specimen.
MP9 Starlight Protector
A brand-new skin from the Dreams & Nightmares Case: the MP9 Starlight Protector. The main figure of the picture is a beautiful unicorn with a rainbow-colored mane against a background of marble texture with gold accents. Expensive and rich. Note that this finish dims with increasing float. In the process, it loses a sizeable percentage of its charm, so we recommend purchasing Minimal Wear or even Factory New copies.
AK-47 Neon Revolution
While there are many pink skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, this one is bar none THE pinkest of them all. Of course, we’re talking the AK-47 Neon Revolution. The artist decorated the lackluster default AK with spots of pink and neon green. Besides the spots, there’s the word ANARCHY on the side of the skin. An excellent weapon finish that’s pretty resistant to float increase. Even in Field-Tested condition, it has enough paint on it to stay eye candy.
M4A4 Neo-Noir
Even after the M4A1-S buff, its counterpart M4A4 remains a solid option for the CTs. Among the skins for this rifle, it was the M4A4 Neo-Noir that we liked the most. Executed in shades of pink, the design uses gray as the background. A great gift — no two ways about it! We recommend going for a Factory New item. Now that the price of the skin is as low as never before, it’s the best time to buy it.
AWP Pink DDPAT
We’ll close the set of weapon finishes is a real classic: the AWP Pink DDPAT. The skin dropped back in 2014. Despite its age, it still looks magnificent. The reason: it’s very simple. Fact is, camouflage, as a style, doesn’t age. And pink camouflage can even be considered a fashion hit for all time. We recommend buying one of these in Minimal War or better condition.
Butterfly Knife Doppler Phase 2
Choosing the right knife wasn’t a trivial matter. Since the key color of this selection is pink, we eventually settled on Butterfly Knife Doppler Phase 2. This knife nicely combines shades of pink and purple. On top of that, there’s this whimsical inspection animation that’s simply irresistible. Alternatively, you can pick the Karambit Fade — or other knives with Fade coloring, as long as there is enough pink!
Sport Gloves Vice
While choosing the blade was a marathon task, the gloves were a piece of cake, contrariwise. A pair of bright Sport Gloves Vice fits this selection best. Turquoise and pink colors combined with shades of gray. Real chic! Moreover, this color palette perfectly matches all skins from this selection.
