Valve usually releases Counter-Strike 2 content updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This week, however, they broke the pattern. After adding highlight charms and IEM Cologne 2026 Major Champions stickers, the developers surprised everyone on Friday evening with a brand-new Jackass Sticker Capsule. The CS.MONEY Blog takes a closer look at the new Jackass stickers and explains the references.

Who Are Jackass?
“Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville, and welcome to Jackass!”
Back in the 2000s, hearing that line on MTV meant you were about to watch half an hour of outrageous stunts. Stunt performers, skateboarders, and fearless pranksters pushed their bodies to the limit while also shocking random people on the street.
Today, MTV does no longer exist, and Jackass is finally wrapping up its legendary run after 25 years. The new movie, Jackass: The Best and Final, has hit theaters, and to promote the film, Valve released a special Jackass Sticker Capsule in CS2.
The collection includes the show’s logo along with references to some of its most iconic stunts, including High Five!, Johnny Knoxville’s bull rodeo and launching a fully loaded portable toilet with a giant catapult. The capsule was created by Andy Jenkins, one of Jackass’ longtime artists, together with TheDanidem, a well-known Valve Workshop creator.
For longtime Jackass fans, this is an amazing crossover. If you never watched the show, you’ll still get a collection full of funny stickers that can be used to make all kinds of hilarious—and sometimes NSFW—crafts.

The capsule contains 39 different stickers:

Radiograph deserves a special mention. For many players, it could become a much cheaper—but just as stylish—alternative to the Crown sticker. The metallic golden skull looks fantastic.

Hidden Easter Eggs in the Jackass Stickers
Every sticker is inspired by moments from Jackass’ 25-year history, a franchise that has always been aimed at adult audiences. We’ve already mentioned some of the most famous stunts, so let’s focus on what happens when you scrape the stickers.
- If you fully scrape the Jackass logo, only the word “Ass” remains.
- At high scrape levels, High Five! changes into a hand showing a middle finger.
- Big Red Rocket slowly reveals its name as more of the sticker is scraped away.
- Partyboy loses its rainbow outline but gains underwear that covers both the chest and groin.
- Boner Snap transforms into a rather unusual shape before abruptly ending.
- Finally, Skull Bunny can lose the skull completely, revealing the word “Jackass” instead.
Why Did Valve Release This Capsule Now? What Does It Mean for the Market?
Interestingly, Valve recently seemed to be moving away from traditional loot boxes. After introducing the new sticker system during the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, many players thought sticker capsules were gone for good. Then this release happened.
One possible explanation is that the deal for the Jackass collaboration had been in development for a long time and was created alongside the Major Shop. Once the Major ended, Valve released the capsule while the movie was still showing in theaters.
Another interesting theory comes from MikeWater9. He suggested that, while dealing with legal scrutiny from New York state prosecutors, Valve released a collaboration with an adult-oriented American franchise to strengthen the argument that CS2 is not designed for children. We think it’s unlikely that the lawsuit alone caused this collaboration, but it’s possible Valve saw an opportunity to achieve both goals at once.
There’s another important detail: the Jackass Capsule is currently unavailable in several European countries. Players in Germany, France, and the Netherlands cannot open it yet and will have to wait about a week before the first stickers appear on the Steam Community Market.
Does this mean cases could return in the future and Valve might abandon sticker terminals and direct-purchase shops? Anything is possible, but it’s far too early to jump to conclusions. For now, this looks more like a one-time exception than the start of a new trend.
