Mirage has been part of the game for over ten years with hardly any changes. Quite the track record! Its popularity has remained strong, and every player should know at least a few of the most useful grenades for this map. The CS.MONEY Blog has prepared the three most simple and useful grenades for both attack and defence on Mirage.

Top-3 T-side Grenades on Mirage
Smoke to Window from Spawn
Perhaps the most important grenade on the map. It allows attacking players to quickly take control of mid. The window can be smoked from spawn, but we’ve prepared a slightly slower yet more universal method. To perform this, simply stand by the trash can, aim just below the antenna, hold the right movement key, and throw the grenade while jumping.
Full B Smoke
If you manage to convince a couple of teammates to drop smokes for you, you can solo-smoke the B site. This can be done from one corner—stand against it, perform two jumping throws and one regular throw. The result will be smoke covering both exits from the kitchen and blocking the short passage.
Smoke for Stairs and Jungle
Here, you’ll need help from a teammate (or just one teammate), as you’ll need two smokes. By standing at the wooden beam, you can smoke both Jungle and Stairs without moving from your spot. The first throw is easy, but you might need to practice the second one separately.
Top-3 CT-side Grenades on Mirage
Flash against rush from the Pit
You can successfully hold the A site push with just one flash. Stand under the Balcony and jumpthrow a flash; it will blind the entire area around the Pit. This flash will even force players exiting from the Balcony to turn away!
And remember, don’t turn away from the Battle Pass code: RSHQIGPM
Molotov for Apartments
B defenders are well aware of the danger of early pushes. To stop early aggression from the attackers or to deal some free damage to attackers who’ve taken the Stove, use this simple molotov. Also, from the same spot, you can throw a grenade for extra damage.
Grenade for Sandwich
If the attack on A has been slightly delayed, you can deal significant damage to attackers who’ve taken Sandwich. Stand in the corner of Jungle, aim at the middle beam, and throw the grenade. Then, follow it up with a molotov aimed between the central and lower beams to ignite the exit from the Pit. The grenade will deal damage to the player on Sandwich, while the molotov will set the pit exit on fire.
There are dozens of grenade line-ups for Mirage, and learning all of them is nearly impossible. However, knowing at least the basics is essential for every player. Follow us on our social media to stay updated with the most useful tips for Counter-Strike 2.
