After a long delay, Valve has finally released a huge update for Counter-Strike 2, covering a whopping nine gigabytes! And they gave us a bunch of new things: Arms Race is back with two maps, new stickers (you can now apply five of them!), the new Kilowatt Case (we already wrote about it!), new music, Zeus/taser rework, updated smokes, a bunch of system improvements, a ton of bug fixes, and much more. Today CS.MONEY Blog shows what was in the CS2 update called A Call To Arms in brief.

Arms Race is back with two maps: Baggage and Shoots
Many missed the old modes from CS:GO because the developers weren’t adding them to CS2, apparently updating them for the new engine. And in “A Call To Arms” they finally brought the mode that many people liked: Arms Race! With two whole maps, Baggage and Shoots.
Up to five Stickers per weapon now! And anywhere!!!
Stickers can be placed anywhere now. Yes, this is not a joke. There were rumors that Valve would make this possible at the game’s release, and now the theory has become reality. Also, on all skins in CS2 you can now place up to five stickers anywhere on the weapon.

Of course, new stickers had to be released for such an important event.
Mostly these are cool and fun stickers with Easter eggs, but some look downright chic. We will analyze all the stickers in a separate article, but for now you can see all the new stickers here:
New Case, The Kilowatt Case: first Zeus skin and The Kukri Knife
Overall, the new case in CS2 turned out to be very cool. We have already shown it separately and discussed it in another post, so follow the link and look at all the new skins, including the first skin for Zeus and the new Kukri knife.
New Music Kit, NIGHTMODE
And although some wanted to hear Venjent in the game, Valve decided to take other artists. Let’s watch the video and listen to beautiful new music in CS2!
Smoke has been improved and now casts shadows
The developers have improved how smokes now work in CS2. In addition to the fact that their geometry now behaves more naturally, the system of light and shadows now fully works inside the smokes, which improves their realism.
Other important improvements
Among other equally useful and important updates in the new patch, we highlight the following:
- Zeus can be reused after 30 seconds
- M249 has a new sound
- A “Return All” button has been added to the Buy Menu
- Added a setting to disable first person tracers
- Fixes of popular bugs
- Added the ability to listen to your own microphone in the settings
- The peeker’s advantage has been reduced
- Bug fixes on all maps
- Agents now get upset when they lose
- And much more
