CS2’s New Rating System Explained

You no longer have to worry about losing ranks while mastering a specific map: Rank Separation by Maps allows you to play at a specific map with other players of your skill on this map. If you’re not so good, for example, on Anubis, your opponents won’t be as skilled, and you can play more balanced matches and improve your skills. How does the Premier rating in CS2 correspond to the old CS:GO ranks?
Occasionally, Valve restricts access to its API, and now there is less matchmaking data available. Nevertheless, the boundary for Silvers is around 7500 rating points. If your rating is between 7500 and about 12000, then you’re in the gold ranks. The rank zone with “AKs” is in the range of 12,000–15,000. And the high-level player threshold begins at 12,000 rating.
