Why did Valve delay the sticker release?
There will never be an official answer, but according to insiders, Valve hesitated with stickers for the Major in Copenhagen because some esports players did not submit their autographs on time. Valve clarified that there should be no special complicated design concepts or fancy stickers, as they should be just ordinary autographs the players can repeat on real paper or, for example, a fan’s rug or T-shirt.
As confirmed by ohnePixel, one of Ecstatic owners, a Major-attending team, some players were unable to send adequate autographs in time, and therefore Valve rescheduled the release of capsules from before the start of the tournament.
