Team Spirit was founded in 2015, and their first CS:GO roster appeared in 2016. Team Spirit Stockholm 2021
The first post-COVID Major shown how significantly the dynamics of the global CS scene changed. Team Spirit performed well in the play-in stage but was stopped by Astralis, who, although no longer in their golden era, still had several multi-time champions. The Brazilian Major was a step back for the organization, but if you had told their management in 2017 that five years later, their team would make it to the playoffs again, they would likely have been thrilled. Team Spirit Rio 2022 are notable not only for the larger background area but also for the dragon turning white. Team Spirit Copenhagen 2024
By 2024, Team Spirit had assembled a super roster, with stars like donk and sh1ro leading the charge. For the number one breakthrough player of the year, their first Major didn’t go as planned: many expected this roster to win, but the Dragons were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
