The skins from the Dreams & Nightmares Case are already available on the website. To celebrate this, the CS.MONEY Blog gathered in one place all fun facts concerning the brand-new weapon finishes. For instance, did you know that the Mag-7 Foresight references that octopus who made World Cup predictions? No? Well, in this case, read the post to the end to find out the rest of the cool stuff!

Sawed-Off Spirit Board

The Sawed-Off Spirit Board is built off of a very simple idea: the creator turned an ordinary shotgun into a séance device. To this end, he installed an Oujia — a board for communicating with spirits — on the back of the weapon. It looks extremely classy and on point.

The finish reveals its secret as the float increases: the higher the wear, the clearer the eye on the wood and the word “RUN!!!” on the barrel. The suggestion to run away is somewhat ironic since, if you’re wielding a Sawed-Off, you move slower than with any other shotgun. Actually, you can run faster even with an AK.

USP-S Ticket to Hell

You might have noticed that there’s a QR code on the scope of each AUG rifle in the game. These codes are found on all ACOG scopes in real life. It’s not an Easter egg — the code contains the model and serial number of the scope. The next QR code, however, is indeed an Easter egg.

On the front side of the USP-S Ticket to Hell is yet another QR code. In addition to it, the weapon finish features a couple barcodes. The gun is abundantly littered with those, from the silencer to the handle. Back to the QR code, though: if you try to scan it, you’ll see it’s unreadable. Too bad. Nevertheless, the code does contain information. It’s a coded link to the Workshop page of supremat, the artist who created the skin.

Dual Berettas Melondrama

Another finish whose secrets are revealed as the float grows. The Dual Berettas Melondrama obviously references the content of the picture: it depicts melons, you know. But besides this obvious connection, the skin offers its more inquisitive users yet another secret.

With increasing float, this creepy design gets even scarier. The glowing eyes of the watermelon slices gradually become empty, until only eye sockets remain. Just how creepy is that? By the way, apart from the eyes, float increase results in the paint on the top of the barrel getting damaged — and that’s all. So even at high float values, this skin looks relatively good.

XM1014 Zombie Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive already features skins with a bunch of little cuties. Take the AWP PAW with tons of cats and dogs. Incidentally, did you know that this look has a rare pattern with a golden kitty? Also, the skin depicts a character from Dota 2: Bounty Hunter. The XM1014 Zombie Offensive from the Dreams & Nightmares Case is executed in a similar style. And you can find characters from another Valve game on it.

If you examine the pattern carefully, you can see it consists not only of agents. Among the characters are zombies from Left4Dead. There’s a hunter sitting on top of another character, a smoker with a long tongue, and even a tank in the form of agent ‘Medium Rare’ Crasswater. Long story short, it’s a crossover of Valve’s two universes!

M4A1-S Night Terror

The M4A1-S Night Terror has a most curious feature. Its most expensive variety is Battle-Scarred — and for a reason. It’s all about the changes that the skin undergoes as the float increases. Try to guess what happens to it. Hidden inscriptions? A hidden layer of artwork? A metamorphosis of the original pattern? No, no, and no.

As the float grows, this skin changes color! It changes from red to purple. This transformation looks badass, and it affected the price accordingly. Beaten-up copies cost twice as much as for Factory-New specimens.

Of course, this isn’t an exhaustive list of secrets around the skins from the latest case. For example, the eyes of the figures from the MAC-10 Ensnared glow in the dark. Check it out for yourself! By the way, we already have the items from the new case on our website, so if you want to buy some of them, you should do so at CS.MONEY.
