We took seven most popular guns and unearthed some awesome skins for them that cost under five bucks. Check out this selection of top-notch cheap skins by CS.MONEY.
AK-47 Rat Rod WW
In the “under five dollars” category, you can find about seven AK-47 skins. Three of them are camo, which is something of a niche taste. If you like that look, however, Safari Mesh is the cheapest and safest choice.
We, on the other hand, decided to draw your attention to AK-47 Rat Rod with a fairly high float value. The main reason is that this skin isn’t Elite Build or Uncharted. No, seriously. This pair is recommended all the time, and those items are actually the standard cheap AK skins.
In contrast, CS.MONEY suggests you abandon the well-beaten track and pick AK-47 Rat Rod instead. It’s a skin with lots of details, a curious design, and a funny execution. Certainly worth the five dollars spent.
M4A4 Evil Daimyo FT
There are about as few cheap skins for the M4 as there are for the AK-47. M4A4 Evil Daimyo is the most vivid, detailed, and interesting item among them.
Only M4A4 Magnesium can be its rival, but it has a simpler design and less bright colors. In our opinion, it’s M4A4 Evil Daimyo that deserves the “5-Dollar Gem” title.
AWP Mortis MW
There are a couple of really cool budget skins for the main sniper rifle in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We settled on AWP Mortis. Executed in the Tarot cards style, this skin is pure eye candy.
It was made with a really nice touch: the difference between the minimal-wear and “factory-new” conditions is the scuffs on the magazine and on the barrel under the sight. It looks so organic that you tend to forget over time it wasn’t the original idea. This skin’s lit.
Desert Eagle Light Rail FN
In our selection, the role of a budget Deagle is assumed by Desert Eagle Light Rail. The main appeal of the skin is the 3D effect which seemingly changes the geometry of the gun. This makes the gun look good even without stickers, so the purchase of Light Rail can be considered a definitive investment in the Desert Eagle.
But if you find stickers important and necessary, consider Desert Eagle Conspiracy. Almost all stickers look good on the dark body of this gun.
USP-S Cyrex FN
The community’s unqualified favorite among cheap USP skins. Futuristic design, contrasting colors, nice pattern scheme — USP-S Cyrex is fantastic both as it is and with a bunch of stickers applied to it. This skin looks equally great in any situation.
Glock-18 Royal Legion FN
Among skins for the default attack pistol, there are plenty of decent contenders in any price range, including cheap ones. Specifically, for five bucks, you can get a Glock-18 Royal Legion in perfect condition — and that’s exactly what we recommend you do.
A bright skin with an uncommon orange coloring in the lower part and cool engraving on the upper part. Glock-18 Royal Legion will make a great addition to any collection.
MP9 Hypnotic
This defense-only submachine gun is currently enjoying a popularity boom. It has no competitors in its price range — it’s fast, accurate, and cheap. A really popular gun. Unfortunately, there are but few cool skins for it.
Among cheap items, we dug MP9 Hypnotic best. A true classic from 2013 with a simple and contrasting pattern. To add to it, the pattern depends on the index, which is another advantage of the skin.
Instead of this skin, you can opt for some other items, like MP9 Hydra or MP9 Deadly Poison, which aren’t bad-looking either. But we’ll definitely vote for MP9 Hypnotic.
And what skin with a price under five bucks do you think is the coolest? Be sure to tell us in the comments.
