Entropiq signed EPG Family
The Czech organization Entropiq has signed the promising roster EPG Family. Until March 31, the players of EPG represented the Winstrike tag. They have been without a team for the past 40 days.
In the span of a single month, ex-Winstrike reached number twenty in the HLTV World Rankings. During their time without an organization, the EPG Family lineup achieved second places at Snow Sweet Snow Cup 2 and Spring Sweet Spring 2.
Highlight of the week
The highlight of the week was doubtlessly the ace by Complexity sniper Valentin “poizon” Vasilev against FNATIC. The team which lost the match would leave Flashpoint 3. The Bulgarian sniper strengthened his team’s advantage over the Swedes. Complexity’s 2:0 victory in this round ended the half.
allu left the active ENCE roster
Aleksi “allu” Jalli left the ENCE roster due to a loss of motivation. The Finnish player had been part of the lineup since the most successful roster in the organization’s history was founded in early 2018.
Now, allu has been replaced with Olek “hades” Miskiewicz. With the Polish marksman on board, ENCE have already won LOOT BET Season 9.
Return of the coaching bug
Sergey “LMBT” Bezhanov, coach of GORILLAZ, shared a video of his camera hanging mid-air on his Twitter account. The bug with the coaching slot did a number on many teams last September. For the abuse of the bug, ESIC suspended around forty coaches.
This bug was thought to have been fixed last August. At least, that’s what the report to the game’s community said. Yet now it’s back. Immediately after the tweet was published, Sergey was supported by several other coaches, who confirmed his words. It turns out, several other people had encountered this bug the other day as well.
So far, it’s impossible to estimate the true extent of the problem. ESIC and Valve may have to ban the coaches once again.
Ancient optimized
The week before last, the competitive map pool saw the addition of Ancient; last week, Valve introduced the first major changes. In the most recent update, the devs brought a large-scale optimization of the map. Some players claim that after the update, the FPS increased by 30-50%. Besides this polishing, the developers also changed certain corners and passages.
