Inventory for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’s Trophies

The adventures of Lara Croft are turning 25 this year. The first game of the franchise, Tomb Raider, dropped on October 25, 1996. To celebrate this occasion, the CS.MONEY Blog decided to compile a selection of trophies that could well be of interest to the Tomb Raider.

AK-47 Legion of Anubis

In video games and comic books alike, Lara Croft regularly ended up in Egypt. The reasons for visiting the area varied from hunting trophies to consulting a professor. However, it was normally not until an intense shootout that the heroine got to ask questions.

In the very first installment, Tomb Raider, Lara uses the artifact called the Seal of Anubis. Without mentioning why she needed it — that would be a spoiler — let’s just say the AK-47 Legion of Anubis could have replaced the seal: it’s brilliant artifact material.

The skin popped up in CS:GO last year, and it’s just a fantastic weapon finish for those into one-tapping with the AK-47. We recommend hunting for a Minimal Wear specimen. While it looks just as good as a Factory New copy, you can save about 30%.

M4A4 Royal Paladin

The term “paladin” dates back to the Roman Empire. The modern image — a knight that personifies chivalry and gallantry — is more like the glorious warriors from the legends of King Arthur. By the way, Lara Croft discovered his tomb in Tomb Raider: Legend

Unfortunately, normal work at an archaeological site was hindered by mercenaries and sea serpents. We had to resort to firearms and grenades to deal with them. In this particular setting though, the M4A4 Royal Paladin would’ve looked great instead of the default rifle.

For thrifty collectors, we suggest going for the M4A4 Royal Paladin Field-Tested. These items are noticeably cheaper, and it’s easy to find not-overly-worn copies with our float filter.

AWP The Prince

In the Tomb Raider universe, Venice isn’t just a tourist mecca and a city on the water, but also the place where the Illuminati are headquartered. What’s even funnier is that the heroine visited the city in pursuit of artifacts from China. Bottom line, things are complicated and confusing as far as Venice is concerned!

The main Venice-based adversaries were Dobermans, rats, and the Fiamma Nera cultists. To deal with the latter, a rifle, such as the AWP The Prince, would be very much in order. The skin would look great in the game, not only because of its design, but also thanks to the inscription: PAX TIBI MARCE EVANGELISTA MEUS. It’s directly related to an actual treasure hunt. What a twist!

Desert Eagle Emerald Jörmungandr

Over the 25-year history of Tomb Raider, the heroine has had enough time to explore locations around the globe. For instance, Lara Croft has been to Norway. But not just for fun — adventures even dragged her to Valhalla! In Tomb Raider: Underworld, the player will meet Mjölnir, the Vikings, and a most special thing named Jörmungandr, the World Serpent.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has its own Jörmungandr: there’s an eponymous Desert Eagle skin. A pair of green DEagles would make a great addition to Lara Croft’s arsenal. In the last remake, you can actually shoot with a regular Desert Eagle. The game would certainly benefit from having this finish.

Bayonet Black Laminate

The image of Lara Croft cannot do without a pair of pistols, a T-shirt, and tight-fitting shorts. Yet knives or other edged weapons barely get the recognition they deserve. Before the last reboot of the series, the heroine mostly annihilated enemies with her hands and feet. Starting with Tomb Raider 2013, however, she received an ice pick and, later, a knife.

The real-life prototype for the blade is the Soviet knife NR-40. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive doesn’t feature such models yet. That’s why we opted for an analogous item — Bayonet Black Laminate. This knife has the same menacing look and dark color scheme.

Bloodhound Gloves Charred

Besides the aforementioned guns and clothing items, the Tomb Raider always wears gloves. Usually, it’s a pair of fingerless black gloves. Sometimes there are other variations, like fabric wrapped around the palm, or full gloves covering the wrist and palm.

We settled on the classic look. A pair of Bloodhound Gloves Charred is perfect for this purpose. Black gloves with rivets and red elements look chic and will reliably protect tomb raiders’ palms from all sorts of blisters and cuts.
