In the competitive Counter-Strike 2 scene, new players often emerge as bright stars. While Team Liquid didn’t make it to the playoffs at IEM Cologne, the Polish freshman made quite an impression. Today, CS.MONEY Blog will tell you everything about Ultimate: how he joined Team Liquid, his in-game settings, and the skins in his inventory.

Who is Ultimate from Team Liquid?
Roland Tomkowiak joined Team Liquid just a month ago and has already become the team’s top-rated player. It’s safe to say that the local scene has fully nurtured the 20-year-old Pole. Before this, he mainly played for Polish organizations like Illuminar Gaming and AGO Esports.
One of the standout moments in his career was his participation in Pasha Gaming Camp—a regular initiative by the legendary PashaBiceps, where he helps many young players develop both as players and as individuals. In 2021, Ultimate made it to the final six, and even then, he stood out from the rest.
IEM Cologne was the biggest tournament in Ultimate’s career, and in the first match of the group stage against FURIA, the Pole delivered 46 frags across two maps with a final rating of 1.63, even managing to knife legendary FalleN.
Ultimate’s Settings in CS2
The global community is just starting to get to know Ultimate, so there isn’t a lot of information about his settings yet. According to prosettings.net, many of Ultimate’s in-game settings are fairly standard. However, his mouse settings are worth highlighting.
Ultimate uses the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Black, a top-tier mouse from one of the most well-known device manufacturers. What’s interesting is his sensitivity. We’ve increasingly noticed that players tend to avoid unique numbers, yet Ultimate uses a sensitivity of 0.92 at 800 DPI, resulting in an eDPI (DPI multiplied by sensitivity) of 736.
Player settings are subjective, and there’s no universal recipe for success. However, they can sometimes indicate unusual habits, making them worth studying.
Which Skins Does Ultimate Use?
If you look at the Pole’s inventory right now, you’ll find that he doesn’t have many expensive items. His combo of the Karambit Lore knife and Sport Gloves Omega (Well-Worn) stands out. The rest of his inventory is quite modest, with a preference for black and red colors. His most expensive skin for any rifle or pistol is the StatTrak AWP Wildfire.
However, in Cologne, we saw some skins that aren’t currently visible due to the ten-day trade hold. For example, Ultimate played with an AWP Dragon Lore, likely borrowed from a collector. In the match against FURIA, we also saw the AK-47 Fuel Injector. Ultimate isn’t fundamentally opposed to skins like EliGE, so it’s likely we’ll see a richer inventory from him in the future.
Ultimate has made a strong debut on the tier-1 scene. While we’re not yet talking about him in the same breath as m0NESY, donk, or ZywOo, the young Pole has a bright future ahead of him, and we’ll continue to watch his first steps on the big stage.
