Will Electronic leave NAVI? What about Perfecto?
It seems one of the leading newsmakers this summer will be Natus Vincere. Dexerto reported that the team plans to remove npl. The seventeen-year-old Ukrainian player didn’t show outstanding results, and after falling one step short of the Major playoffs, such a decision seems quite logical.
However, likely, npl won’t be the only one affected. It appears that Natus Vincere wants to completely rebuild their roster and are considering options with English-speaking players. Insider Harumi reports that the team plans to remove Electronic and Perfecto. They might continue playing together but on a different team. We’ll discuss the fate of the Russian duo later; for now, let’s evaluate the potential new Natus Vincere lineup.
The team will undoubtedly keep s1mple, and b1t will stay as well. We have two questions: who will play for NAVI in CS2 alongside them and who will be the team’s new in-game leader? Rumours are circulating that NAVI are interested in AleksiB, who lost his place in the starting lineup of Ninjas in Pyjamas. Adding two talented riflers to the team is a challenging but not impossible task. There will be a significant number of available players on the market, and there will be plenty of news.
Also, people in the community are discussing a theory of NAVI and Cloud9 swapping players. So, two Russians Perfecto and Electronic can go to play for the blue and white team, and the Kazakh duo buster + h0bbit will go to black & yellow.
- Natus Vincere: – electronic (?), -perfecto (?), -npl (?), + Aleksib (?), + buster (?) +h0bbit (?)
Huge changes in Cloud9? A new super team with Electronic?
The Russian scene could experience significant upheavals. There’s a lot room for several promising lineups, one of which could include Electronic and Perfecto.
First option: Cloud9. The team is going through tough times with no results recently, and roster changes seem necessary. The superstar duo of Sh1ro and Ax1le, reinforced by another superstar duo, Electronic and Perfecto, has unlimited potential. Additionally, Denis Sharipov won’t have to captain the team anymore, which could allow him to return to the highest skill level. Rumour has it that in such a case, the duo of HObbit and Buster might have to leave the team. Maybe even to NAVI. These two could become good reinforcements for many teams in Eastern Europe.
- Cloud9: -Hobbit (?), -Buster (?), +Electronic (?), +Perfecto (?)
Second option: start from scratch. People talk that a well-known bookmaker might attempt to assemble its own lineup. We have Jerry and Zorte—ForZe allowed them to negotiate with other teams. Moreover, Boombl4 might also be available, and he already won trophies with NAVI’s Perf and Elec. Players like Kair0n, El1an, and many others are on the market as well. In theory, this bookmaker have enough funds to cover players’ buyouts to form an appealing lineup.
- ForZe: -Jerry (?), -Zorte (?)
- New Electronic’s team (?): Jerry (?), Zorte (?), Electronic (?), Perfecto (?) +1 (?)
Champions facing losses: a change in Vitality?
Blix.gg reports that the lineup of BLAST.tv Paris Major champions could face changes as well. FlameZ, a star player from OG, might join the team and replace Dupreeh. This rumour seems unexpected since Team Vitality is currently at its peak, and Dupreeh is an integral player with a unique experience.
There are two possible good points. Firstly, Dupreeh could want to take a break or even retire altogether. Peter became a father this year, and it can be assumed that he wants to dedicate more time to his family. Secondly, Team Vitality intends to work towards long-term prospects over the next few years, and replacing Dupreeh with a talented and young player like flameZ could pay off, although only after a significant time. In any case, we await official information.
- Team Vitality: -Dupreeh (?), +flameZ (?)
- OG: -flameZ (?)
Furia benches drop. Fallen announcement when?
After Furia officially benched drop and saffee, the question of whether Fallen would still come to the team is almost closed. Imperial, according to rumors, will receive huge money for him and fer.
In the meantime, here’s Fallen’s dog. This good fella visited him during BLAST Premier Spring Finals Washington:
Big European Reshuffle: Major Rumours of Summer 2023
Needless to say, considering all the circumstances, we are going to witness colossal reshuffles everywhere. Almost all top teams are surrounded by various rumours.
- G2 wants to replace HooXi, and Siuhy, who had an impressive run with GamerLegion in Paris, might be their choice. However, insiders are more confident in sending the Polish player to MOUZ.
- According to OverDrive, Fnatic and Evil Geniuses are actively working to attract Russian players. It will be interesting to see where this leads.
- Once again quoting OverDrive, Virtus.pro tried to sign Kensi, but the player declined. Moreover, if other rumours are true, he’s not the first player to reject IEM Rio Major champions.
- There’s a high probability that Monte will part ways with BOROS. Lots of teams want him.
- According to neL, EG has been in talks with Jackz.
Although we don’t often see any specific names and players in these rumours, just the fact that they exist suggests that many teams are actively working on the transfer market. Something big is brewing, as the scene has felt somewhat stagnant recently. Indeed, PGL Major for CS2 will launch in less than a year.
Confirmed changes in top esports teams:
- FaZe Clan parted ways with their analyst: innersh1ne has decided to leave the team. According to rumors, he will head coach Aurora.
- Falcons dropped misutaaa. Instead, the organization plans to pay huge amounts of money for BOROS’s contract.
- El1an, Magnojez and RAILWAY left the main lineup of k23.
- Hampus replaced Aleksib in Ninjas in Pyjamas
- ESC Gaming has assembled a Ukrainian roster led by veterans Edward and Bondik
- niko (ex-OG player) became a free agent.
- RuStY and draken leave GODSENT main lineup
- Virtus.pro can’t decide on their fifth player. As well as Team Spirit, who, according to rumors, have tested many players, but cannot decide on the final roster.
When can we expect announcements from NAVI, Cloud9, FaZe, Furia and others?
The evening of June 22nd will likely be the first checkpoint. By Thursday night, BLAST Premier Fall Groups teams must submit their final rosters. However, it’s not a 100% dealbreaker, as some teams may travel to Copenhagen with their old lineups, knowing that not all players will continue together. Due to the structure of BLAST Premier, clubs can easily sacrifice the July stage and focus on the autumn part of the season. Nevertheless, some roster changes will sure appear. We will closely monitor the developments in the scene.
