Hello! Here is a regularly updated post where we gather all the current information on compensation for skins stolen due to hacking.
We continue to refund our users for the value of stolen skins. To make this process more transparent, we have compiled all the information on payouts, with dates and amounts, in one place.
How did we assess the skins?
- We independently assessed some items, taking into account their float value and the market prices,
- Skins that had been purchased on our website and immediately put up for sale with a markup were valued at their initial purchase price,
- Rare items (rare float, unique pattern, expensive stickers) were evaluated with the help of experts from the community.
How to find out about the assessed value of items?
We have made the list of skins with their valuation public. You can check who evaluated the skin and at what price by following this link. The value of items was set during the evaluation process and have stayed the same since then.
In the ‘status+wave’ column, you can see during which batch and for which skin items users have already received compensation.
When were the payouts made?
Below, you can find information on the dates and amounts of refunds that have already been paid out. We recalculated the amounts due to the CS.MONEY trade balance update:
18.10.2022 — 171 134
24.04.2023 — 151 776
09.06.2023 — 165 630
19.09.2023 — 100 578
01.02.2024 — 100 769
02.04.2024 — 100 769

25.10.2024 — 159 000
Total refunds: 1 050 204 out of 2 087 206.
How to figure out which skin the money was refunded for?
- Copy the refund sum,
- Go to the table,
- Use the ‘document search’ to find the sum on the page – next to it will be the name and the float of the item for which you received the payout.
Please note that this post will be updated as new refunds are processed.
Due to price changes in Trade Mode, the amount of refunds has also changed: we have recalculated it in direct proportion to CS.MONEY Trade Balance Update.
