Five Music Kits That Will Suit CS:GO

Valve recently added Denzel Curry’s music kit to CS:GO. The well-known meme track ULTIMATE bursts in when you get that Most Valuable Player in a round. While many players think about buying this Music Kit (which is available at our Market already), CS.MONEY Blog decided to fantasize about musicians whose music we would like to hear in CS:GO.

Hype CS:GO: Imagine Dragons

For the past ten years, this rock band from Las Vegas has been regularly flying to the high places of the world’s music charts. They wrote the anthem of the 2014 League of Legends World Championship, and five of their songs have over a billion streams on Spotify. As you can see, they are a tier-1 music band. At the same time, the musical style of Imagine Dragons and their catchy songs are perfect for CS:GO.

Epic Clutches: Hans Zimmer

Best paired with Christopher Nolan, this famous composer adds epicness to everything that happens on the screen. The two-time Oscar winner has already written a soundtrack for PC games, including such a blockbuster as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (the old original one, not the remake). Zimmer’s music quality is sky-high, so a special kit from the maestro would be highly in demand.

One For The Oldies: Linkin Park

Let’s move on to the legends of the past. If you look for frag movies from Counter-Strike made in the 2000s, with a high degree of probability you will hear one of Linkin Park’s songs. Unfortunately, after Chester Bennington passed away, the band reportedly won’t be releasing new material, except for previously unpublished songs. Despite this, a remixed Music Kit from this rock band consisting of old hits could be wildly popular.

DnB Variables: Monstercat music label

Let’s go back to the not-so-distant past. The electronic music label Monstercat has gained tremendous popularity among the Twitch audience. One might say they have set a certain fashion for the soundtrack of both streams and esports tournaments. The Monstercat library boasts a great variety of songs, and assembling a music kit for CS:GO is not a difficult task. Recognizable, popular, easy to collaborate.

Drive Vibes: Carpenter Brut

Frank Hueso, better known as Carpenter Brut, gained popularity after he wrote soundtrack for Hotline Miami 2. His mix of synth-wave, metal and fast rhythm perfectly reflects the spirit of our favourite game. Heavy, uncompromising riffs are perfect for players in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Bonus: Hiroyuki Sawano and Yugo Kanno

Anime skins are pretty popular in CS:GO and they sell well. Why not add music kits of two extremely well-known composers in this environment? Hiroyuki Sawano can be called Hans Zimmer of the anime world: you will recognize his soundtrack from the first seconds (if you are at least a little bit of an anime fan), and his trademark Sawano drop keeps adding epicness to more than a dozen anime.

Yugo Kanno (not to be confused with another legendary composer of the anime industry, Yoko Kanno) is best known for writing the soundtrack to most of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures seasons. Jojo references in CS:GO is a common thing and people love this anime, so why not make a music kit to match nicely?

So far, these options remain only our dreams but do not worry: in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, there are many different music kits which you can buy, including on our Market. Reasonable prices, a user-friendly interface and a large selection: hop in and update your inventory!
