The skin is based on the ancient Greek myth about Icarus. Still, we can safely imagine that it’s some ancient artifact from The Lord of the Rings.

Ever played Titan Quest or Will Rock? Well, in short, ancient Greek monsters tend to break out periodically, and we require the blessing of the gods to send them back to hell.
The appearance of certain enemies and teammates makes you realize that Satyrs and Minotaurs are among us, with Poseidon willing to help us kill them.
AWP | Wildfire
So, you are the chosen one with the blessing from the god of fire himself, whether it be Vulcan, Prometheus, or Hephaestus. They consider you worthy to carry on their mission of killing nubs.
Wildfire is one of the most beautiful AWP skins, and Valve would sure like to add fire bullets to the package, with the enemies burning after getting exposed to such firepower, but… maybe when CS switches to Source 2.

Not to worry, though: no raid is a hindrance to you if you have this gun, whether it be 10, 15, or 25 people. And you only have 5 not-that-bright opponents who mistook you for easy prey. With this skin, you can even survive Ragnarök — what is there even to discuss?
