– First of all, congratulations! We are glad to see Five-Seven Fairy Tale in the new case. Tell us a bit about yourself.
– Hello and thank you! My name is Raphael, I am 32 years old, I am from Russia. I have a lovely wife and a wonderful daughter. I work as an engineer at a factory, and in my spare time, I like drawing and creating skins for the game CS:GO.
– That’s your debut skin accepted. How do you feel about that?
– I still can’t believe that my skin was accepted into the game. On the day the new operation was released, I was going to work as usual, and before leaving, I decided to look at the new items in the workshop… And there, on the main page, I saw my pink gun in the list of accepted skins, and then I was kind of in a daze)) I don’t even remember getting to work. All my thoughts were devoted to my skin now being part of the game 🙂

– Five-Seven Fairy Tale is the cutest skin in the case… Or maybe in the whole game. How did you come up with the idea of this design?
– I wanted to design a gun specifically for girls who play CS:GO. I decided to make it a pink diary for girls, where they write down their thoughts and desires. And how can there be a little girl’s diary without unicorns and a Princess? :)I didn’t really believe that a bright pink gun could be added to the game and it was more of an experiment, but how wrong I was in the end 🙂
– When did you start making skins? Are there any other games except CS that feature your skins? What game was the first? And how did you decide that you want to make a game skin?
– A few years ago, I already tried to draw several skins for the game Rust. At the time, I had no experience in creating textures, so I quickly gave it up. Everything changed after a while, when a friend suggested that I paint characters for mobile games on a freelance basis. At first, it was very difficult for me, I realized that I couldn’t do without special programs for drawing textures. And little by little, I began to study programs and gain experience, until I realized I was ready to return to the Workshop and start all over again, only this time, for the game cs go.
I drew my first skin in July 2020. To attract attention to my work, I immediately decided to draw bright skins, but I couldn’t even think that I would be noticed so quickly. I am very happy to be part of CS:GO‘s history 🙂
– As for you, what Broken Fang case skin is the best one?
– All the skins from operation Broken Fang case are cool, I’m very happy for all the guys who got there. Most of all, I want to mention the nova | polymer weapon from the case. The texture is executed very skilfully . The weapon does seem transparent. This is awesome 🙂
