In 2020, two cases have been released for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This is as many as thirty-four skins!
CS.MONEY went through all of them and chose the four best and most beautiful skins which are a must in each collector’s inventory.
AK-47 Legion of Anubis
The AK-47 is the community’s unrivaled favorite and the most popular weapon at any play level. Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev, for instance, produces numerous headshots with it, and silvers always spray full magazines. The AK-47 in their hands is often in the shape of some skin.
There are 35 AK-47 skins — no other automatic rifle has that amount of skins. Among them are both expensive, like the AK-47 Fuel Injector with a price tag exceeding 200 bucks, and cheap. For instance, Elite Build or Blue Laminate in good condition are cheaper than $10.
The AAK-47 Legion of Anubis is the most recent AK-47 skin, and in many ways, it’s superior to its 34 predecessors. Rich in detail and executed in a rare color combination, black and gold, it doesn’t fail to attract attention. The skin is so good that you don’t even want to complement it with stickers!
The look of this skin is definitely surprising, but the same equally applies to its price. A slightly worn-out AK-47 Legion of Anubis costs about $100, which is relatively low for an AK-47 Covert Skin. Doubtlessly the most beautiful skin of 2020 and one of the coolest in the game’s history.
Glock-18 Bullet Queen
Until recently, there were outrageously few cool and detailed skins for Glock-18, the standard attack pistol. Among expensive skins, there was only the Glock-18 Fade to mention. However, its high price had to do with the skin’s rarity and not with a cool picture. Don’t get us wrong, the gradient certainly looks cool, but it’s no picture.
The situation changed when the Glock-18 Bullet Queen entered the game. The skin abandoned the usual play-with-the-upper-half-of-the-gun formula, used, for example, for Steel Disruption, Dragon Tattoo, or Moonrise. On the contrary, the Glock-18 Bullet Queen focuses on the handle.
With a girl in a red jacket depicted against a canary background and a number of elements executed in white, the resulting skin is extremely vivid. Its price has already stabilized — you can become a happy owner of this luxurious skin for just 50 bucks!
MAG-7 Justice
The 2Minds studio is rather famous for its works, their M4A4 The Emperor and AK-47 The Empress well known and loved in the game community. The MAG-7 Justice, another Tarot-style skin, is rapidly gaining popularity too. It’s arguably become one of the most popular skins for this shotgun.
The reasons for its popularity are quite obvious. The MAG-7 Justice is a very beautiful skin with a cohesive and memorable image. If you look at all the MAG-7 skins which came out before Justice, you’ll see the pictures in them are boring and overly austere. More often than not, it was the shotgun geometry the skin-makers played with, highlighting the two quadrilaterals on the side of the gun.
The MAG-7 Justice, on the contrary, contains a juicy Tarot-style picture, with some variation of Themis, the Greek goddess of justice, seen on the side who is squeezing a sword in one hand and a pair of scales in the other. The skin is executed in blue and gold. The cost of a slightly worn-out MAG-7 Justice is about 7 dollars.
MAC-10 Allure
Unlike other listed skins, the MAC-10 Allure isn’t really anything exceptional. It’s just a beautiful and cheap skin that filled the “thematic vacuum” among MAC-10 skins. Before the Allure, there were no MAC-10 skins in Japanese style.
Despite the price, a MAC-10 Allure in excellent condition costs about $6, definitely making a worthy addition to the inventory. The picture is rich in details: just look at the fish, the wave, and the woman with a fan. A genuine collective image of Japan, true country-of-the-rising-sun vibes.
The picture on the fan deserves separate mentioning. It not only looks harmonious but also contains the yin and yang symbol. Such meticulous work with the details certainly deserves praise!
