Skins for gloves didn’t appear in CS2 on day one. Valve introduced them only in November 2016, when the developers released the first-ever case to have gloves in it. The iconic Glove Case is still available, by the way. In this article, CS.MONEY Blog lists all the types of gloves in CS2 based on their release dates, colours, cases where you can drop them, and many other aspects.

All Kinds of CS2 Gloves
Today, there are formally eight different types of gloves in CS2. Why formally? Well, three of them— Bloodhound, Hydra, and Broken Fang—are, honestly, just variations of each other with slight distinctions. This trio is made based on the same template; the main difference is the logo on the back of the hand.
After clarifying this point, let’s move on to the complete list of all CS2 gloves.
★ Sport Gloves
Currently, the Sport Gloves skin is the most expensive model in the game. This skin starts at $200 for the cheapest (Battle-Scarred Bronze Morph) and can exceed $13,000 (Factory New Amphibious, it’s on the pictures, by the way). They preserve their pattern on the back of the hand quite well. Only Battle-Scarred Sport Gloves start to look noticeably worn out.
Available variations: 12, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Hedge Maze, Superconductor, Pandora’s Box, Arid), Revolution Case, Clutch Case (Amphibious, Omega, Vice, Bronze Morph), Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (Slingshot, Nocts, Scarlet Shamagh, Big Game)
★ Moto Gloves
The main feature of Moto Gloves is the protective panels on two fingers (middle and ring) and the back of the palm. In reality, these panels are used to reduce the risk of injury in a sudden clash with the ground. In CS:GO, they serve solely a decorative function and are the main subject to wear out with the gloves’ float value drop. Do you agree that these ★ Moto Gloves Polygon look dope as hell?
Available variations: 12, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Spearmint, Cool Mint, Boom, Eclipse), Revolution Case, Clutch Case (POW!, Turtle, Transport, Polygon), Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (Blood Pressure, 3rd Commando Company, Smoke Out, Finish Line)
★ Hand Wraps
Some unusual Gloves, right? Obviously, they’re not gloves in any way! Like a boxer wrapping their hands before putting on the punchers, this concept allows some creative ideas to be realized. Hand Wraps Cobalt Skulls may not appeal to everyone, but they’re definitely worth existing. Perhaps for this reason, Hand Wraps can be called the cheapest gloves in the game (starting at $100).
Available variations: 12, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Leather, Slaughter, Spruce DDPAT, Badlands), Revolution Case, Clutch Case (Cobalt Skulls, Overprint, Arboreal, Duct Tape), Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (CAUTION!, Giraffe, Constrictor, Desert Shamagh)
★ Driver Gloves
Among all CS:GO gloves, we would definitely have a pair of ★ Driver Gloves Imperial Plaid! Anyways, unlike Moto Gloves, Driver Gloves take us back to the mid-20th century when race car drivers used leather gloves to prevent steering wheels from slipping. Nowadays, everyone uses gloves made of fire-resistant materials, but that retro era inspired game developers to create these stylish gloves.
Available variations: 12, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Crimson Weave, Diamondback, Lunar Weave, Cowboy), Revolution Case, Clutch Case (Racing Green, Imperial Plade, Kingsnake, Overtake), Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (Snow Leopard, Queen Jaguar, Rezan the Red, Black Tie)
★ Specialist Gloves
Specialist Gloves are a mix between motorcycle and sports gloves but are usually used by special forces. It has both plastic, carbon and metal parts, as well as a high-quality fabric. This gloves skin only visually wears out from Battle Scarred and below. As a result, these gloves are in the mid-price range, although surely have some luxury options (e.g., Factory New ★ Specialist Gloves Fade for over $7,250).
Available variations: 12, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Crimson Kimono, Emerald Web, Foundation, Forest DDPAT), Revolution Case, Clutch Case (Fade, Crimson Web, Mogul, Buckshot), Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (Tiger Strike, Marble Fade, Field Agent, Lt. Commander)
★ Bloodhound Gloves
Bloodhound Gloves became the first Operation-related model of gloves. ★ Bloodhound Gloves Charred have cut-off fingers and a metal hound underlining the Operation’s logo. Hard-rock or metal bands? Motorcycle gangs? Only the most brutal players would use it! Also, the float value drop affects the whole surface.
Available variations: 4, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Glove Case, Operation Hydra Case (Charred, Snakebite, Bronzed, Guerilla)
★ Hydra Gloves
Another Operation-related pair of CS:GO gloves. Hydra Gloves depict intertwined snakes, which basically is the logo of Operation Hydra. It is worth noting that Bloodhound, Hydra, and Broken Fang (which we will talk about later) Gloves are quite cheap. Hydra Gloves Case Hardened Minimal Wear cost around $250, while the lower price range begins at $100.
Available variations: 4, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Revolution Case, Clutch Case (Case Hardened, Emerald, Rattler, Mangrove)
★ Broken Fang Gloves
Broken Fang Gloves are the third and (currently) the last pair of gloves in CS:GO dedicated to Operations. Symbolically, Broken Fang Gloves Unhinged drop from the eponymous Operation Case (paradoxically, but Bloodhound Gloves drop from Operation Hydra Case). It is also interesting that, unlike their counterparts, Broken Fang Gloves are available in three cases.
Available variations: 4, all available on CS.MONEY Trade.
Drops from: Recoil Case, Snakebite Case, Operation Broken Fang Case (Yellow Banded, Jade, Needle Point, Unhinged)
CS2 Gloves By Colour
Considering all types of CS gloves, we have 72 available colour combinations. And all of them will form the entire colour spectrum. Gloves have both brighter models and muted shades. Gloves in CS:GO come in the following primary colours, excluding scuffs and details:
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Greens
- Blue
- Purple
- White
- Black
At the same time, some gloves are inspired by famous skins or patterns. They also combine very well with firearms and knives. It is not surprising that collectors do not mind paying a premium for Specialist Gloves Fade so that, for example, a purchased Karambit Fade looks even more attractive thanks to a combination. Everyone would love that!
How to get gloves in CS2?
There are two ways. First, you could open seven cases (Glove, Operation Hydra, Recoil, Snakebite, Operation Broken Fang, Clutch, Revolution) and hope for luck. The chance of dropping is extremely low (about a quarter of a percent!), plus you won’t be able to choose which drop you will get.
If you don’t want to test the fate, try marketplaces. Not all models are available on Steam due to the maximum cost restriction and Valve’s high commission rules. Therefore, many collectors prefer third-party services. Like CS.MONEY Trade.
