No one doubted that someday Valve would add the Anubis collection to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; the only issue was not knowing when will it happen. After Valve introduced the Egyptian-themed map into the competitive pool, it was obvious that there would be a new line of skins in the game before the upcoming major—at least for the sake of souvenir cases. And here it comes, the newest Anubis Collection! CS.MONEY Blog lists all Anubis skins in one place with screenshots and a little trivia; just read below.

As for the Anubis Collection, Valve presented 19 new skins, the same as in most other collections dedicated to competitive maps. Let’s look at the new skins, from the rarest to the most common.
M4A4 Eye of Horus: new Anubis M4A4
Obviously, a map styled as Ancient Egypt must have skins dedicated to it. In ancient Egyptian mythology, Horus is the deity of the sky and the sun. The son of Osiris and Isis was often depicted either as a falcon or a man with a falcon’s head. This M4A4 Eye of Horus has one on the side of this rifle. Eye of Horus is a colourful light skin with a charming bird as the central element.
P250 Apep’s Curse
A huge serpent and the eternal enemy of the god Ra, Apep is an essential element of ancient Egyptian mythology. According to the beliefs of that time, his main goal was to plunge the world into eternal darkness. Fortunately, P250 Apep’s Curse is not dark at all but luxuriously golden with red and green inserts. A gorgeous-looking skin!
FAMAS Waters of Nephthys
Nephthys is the goddess of death and birth. She floats in the boat of eternity through the underground waters, so, unsurprisingly, this skin has a water-ish design. But let’s pay a little more attention here. If you look at the screenshot of a new CS:GO skin, a reasonable question arises: it’s a simple bright blue skin, so why is it of Classified rarity? It’s easier than you might think: just launch CS:GO and inspect FAMAS Waters of Nephthys! It colourfully shimmers when the lighting changes. We got a full-fledged pearlescent skin, amazing stuff!
P90 ScaraB Rush
Oh, the devilish CS:GO developers! They couldn’t ignore one of the most popular CS:GO memes, organically writing it into the name of the new P90 skin (an excellent choice of weapon). Cute scarab beetles await, and P90 ScaraB Rush continues the theme of ancient Egyptian art. Moreover, it’s a glorious work by Apel8!
Nova Sobek’s Bite
Sobek is the Egyptian god of the Nile. Most of the time, he was depicted with the head of a crocodile. Once again, since Anubis is a map with a water channel, Valve couldn’t ignore aquatic skins. “Chaos is born out of water”, and Nova Sobek’s Bite, made in the Egyptian theme, is the personification of this concept.

MAG-7 Copper Coated
MAG-7 Copper Coated is the first skin in the Anubis Collection not tied to any ancient Egyptian names in any way. And recalling the Stargate series more than Ancient Egypt, to be honest. Red-hot copper literally flows down the barrel of this shotgun, and this is the main feature of this shotgun.
AWP Black Nile
To someone, this skin may remind of the AWP Exoskeleton, but this one looks as simple as it is delicious. The creators of AWP Black Nile show how you can make art using just one colour. Bravo!
AK-47 Steel Delta
It is curious how the developers decided this time to send skins for AWP and AK-47 to the “blue” category of rarity. AK-47 Steel Delta looks like a firm skin but without any central element—just wood, metal and nothing extra.
Tec-9 Mummy’s Rot
The authors of the skin had great fun working on it. When you think of ancient Egypt, you most likely will first think of pharaohs and then about mummies. And this weapon finish depicts the concept very well. Pictographs on the clip, a mummy’s hand on the handle, a predatory animal’s muzzle on the back. This Tec-9 Mummy’s Rot has a lot to offer!
MAC-10 Echoing Sands
And in MAC-10 Echoing Sands, we even have a futuristic vibe. Stargate again? The pattern of this submachine gun is simple but very classy. There is also a tiny Egyptian bug on its back!

The description of this skin says that basic skins don’t have to be boring. In the case of USP-S Desert Tactical, we see a classic camouflage suitable for hot desert combat. Suits perfectly, given the setting of Anubis.

Just inspecting XM1014 Hieroglyph in your hands will almost be equivalent to visiting the great Egyptian Pyramids. Jokes aside, it’s an excellent and detailed skin from Anubis Collection: tiny and textured pictograms, bright patterns, and the sand-clay base. Like a true artefact of the past eras.
M249 Submerged
M249 Submerged follows in the footsteps of MAC-10 Echoing Sands. Just a great and vibe-full skin, depicting echoes of the desert. Minimalistic and great.
R8 Revolver Inlay
We’re so sad that R8 is just an unplayable gun right now! R8 Revolver Inlay is pure gold (not literally). Its stone handle and metal patterns look amazing! Maybe, Indiana Jones or Nathan Drake would wear one if they visited Egypt on their travels. A gorgeous and very detailed skin.
