Skin history
AK-47 | Baroque Purple appeared in CS:GO on November 18, 2019. It belongs to The Canals Collection, introduced to the shooter in Operation Shattered Web along with the other two weapon collections featuring community-designed weapon finishes.
Pattern features
The color palette of the firearm consists of black and pale purple (close to gray). Most of the gun's surface is covered with a pattern referring to the Baroque, a style of European art from the XVI to XVIII centuries famous for its extravagance and dynamism.
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines how the pattern is applied to the surface of the assault rifle. However, this skin doesn’t have valuable pattern versions.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item can vary between 0.00 and 1.00, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. The rifle darkens as it wears, and the paint gets erased from the barrel, magazine, rear sight block, and the trigger and its guard (at high float values, the paint entirely disappears).
Rarity and popularity
AK-47 | Baroque Purple is categorized as the “Industrial Grade” rarity and is unavailable in either souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is not popular among CS2 fans.
