Auction is a separate trading mode on the CS.MONEY website. Here you can find skins that can be much more valuable than regular ones. The auction allows you to find skins with rare patterns, float or expensive stickers.
Where to find it?
You can find the Auction on the right above the list of site skins. First you need to enable the “pro version” of the site. After that, find the icon with a hammer and click on it. A tab with all the lots will open. In this section you can select your favorite skin and place a bet using the corresponding button. When clicked, you will be prompted to enter the selected bid based on the step. The bet will be registered after clicking on the “accept” button.
In addition, here you can find all the information about the lots offered: the end time of the auction, the number of bids, the starting price and the price increase step. There is an icon with the skin itself. With it, you can inspect the skin, stickers on it, find out the float, as well as find links to 2D and 3D viewing and the skin page on the wiki.
How to win?
To win the auction you need to make the maximum bid before it ends. After victory, the lot value is deducted from the balance, and the skin itself falls into the user’s inventory on the site. When specifying a bet there is a restriction called a “step”. This limit allows you to bet on different skins, while their total cost should not exceed the balance for three times.
There are three more tabs: my bids, history and FAQ. In the first one you can find a list of skins for which at least one bet has been made, and which have not yet been sold. The second contains a list of all bets made, and the third contains answers to frequently asked questions.
The main task at the auction is to find the very skin that will really cost more. For example, AWP | Safari Mesh BS with a float index of 0.798… with the upper border at 0.80 – a rather rare find! With this indicator of float, the skin is almost black! This skin was auctioned at a price of $2.31 and after 58 bids the user left for $9. The very next day, he sold this AWP on our trading floor for $15.
A skilled trader will be able to find rare skins at the auction and earn money. But this does not mean that it is intended only for them. You can have a great time on it and turn the purchase of the next skin into an interesting process.
