It happened! Valve has released an update ahead of the Shanghai Major in China 2024, which includes the Viewer Pass for the Major and tournament stickers (player autographs and team stickers). We’ve made a separate article about the Viewer Pass and pick-ems in our CS.MONEY Blog, but here we will talk only about the Shanghai 2024 Major stickers, with players and teams!

Shanghai Major 2024 Stickers
So, this time Valve decided not to reinvent anything and all the stickers of the Shanghai Major, player autographs and team stickers both, look familiar and have the usual types: paper, glitter, foil, holographic and gold. On the Holo stickers, though, you can see patterns just like each team’s logo!

The Shanghai Major team stickers, as we already mentioned, have not changed compared to previous versions of the stickers. The updated tournament logo at the bottom is the new part, but otherwise everything is as usual.

It’s worth noting that the Shanghai Major has brought some very cool stickers, both for crafting and just original ideas. For example, the entire Furia team decided to make themed stickers with Chinese letters:

S1mple’s Sticker for Shanghai Major 2024
Surprisingly, even though s1mple didn’t make it to the Shanghai Major, his sticker kinda was able to make it into the game thanks to Heroic’s degster. The thing is, Degster’s sticker is very similar to S1mple’s sticker from the 2023 Paris Major. See for yourself:
Passion UA Stickers
The much-talked-about Passion UA, co-owned by Oleksandr Zinchenko, received their first CS2 stickers at the Shanghai Major 2024. Here’s what the team’s player stickers look like:
Did Valve Release CS2 Esports Keychains/Charms?
Unfortunately, keychains/charms with team logos were not released at the Shanghai Major 2024, although many hoped for this and various options were suggested on the Internet, created by craftsmen from the CS2 community. Most likely, Valve will save the idea of esports tournament keychains/charms for next year.
