5 tips on how to drop your Global Elite status in CS:GO

2040

Tired of tough matches? Is your high rank putting pressure on you? Exhausted from single-handedly winning every game in a 1v5 scenario? Not a problem. Here are your five tips on how to drop your Global Elite status from the CS.MONEY Blog. Scroll down and soak up our insights on how to instantly become a Silver-ranked superstar.

Tip 1: “Just look at that radar, all info is there!”

Why waste your energy and precious concentration to provide your squad with intel? Every player has an in-game radar, and everything’s already there. If they’re Global Elite players and want information, they can look at the corner of their screen and find everything out by themselves. Meanwhile, you can chillax and elaborate on the server lags and wallhackers literally everywhere in the voice chat.

Tip 2: shoot back

Your teammate accidentally stabbed you at the respawn? Dealt you 2 damage units with a nade? There’s no room for such irresponsible traitors among Global Elite in the game. Be sure to give the rude offender a nice burst of fire as a punitive measure. Better still: wait until your team is entering the bombsite and throw a Molotov at their feet. They’ll certainly remember that lesson! Yeah, that’s right! And make sure to do it again in the next round. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. A few snippy words in the chat will be the icing on the cake. It’ll serve them right!

Tip 3: encourage creativity

The competitive map pool doesn’t get changes very often. All the strats become routine, all timings become well-known real soon. Yet to grow as a player, you have to get out of your comfort zone and think outside the box. And while you can already do that, the others still need to learn.

To cultivate this sacred knowledge, make your teammates think creatively. Block the rush passage to the bombsite by standing in the middle of it. Throw a Molotov to block the exit. Leak info to the opposing team.

Everyone can navigate waypoints — let’s see how your teammates can adapt. Even though they might not understand it just yet, you’re making them better and more creative players, and this justifies any means.

Tip 4: embrace the crab style

Crouching results in increased accuracy and decreased recoil. It’s staggering how often players forget about this trick. Be smart: crouch at every chance you get. The famous proverb “crouch to make your enemies say ouch” didn’t appear out of thin air. So forget about strafing, counter-strafing, and other show-off tricks. Whenever you see an enemy, crouch, crawl, and hold down the trigger. That’s the way real Global Elite players do it! After all, GeT_RiGhT invented this strategy for a reason!

Tip 5: take your time

Each CS:GO round lasts almost two minutes. There’s plenty of time — no need to rush. If you want some tea, just go to the kitchen and make some. Need to meet a delivery guy? Just go and do it quickly — relax, you’ll surely return before the middle of the round. Even if you have to respond in the Discord chat — go ahead and do it. One minute will cut no ice. And when you’re back in the game, check which of your teammates are waiting to get respawned and if any, be sure to remind them that getting fragged during the first minute of the round is a sign of low skill.

Of course, these are jocular bad tips. You play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to win. So if you want to be an effective and sportsmanlike player, don’t follow any of that advice.

Victory requires being in a good mood, being warmed-up, communicating with your teammates, and having a cool head. Always try to keep a positive mindset, give clear and quick intel, and don’t hesitate to ask for or give drops. Bottom line: play to win, and CS:GO will bring a lot more fun and satisfaction.

Last tip: skins make playing the game more enjoyable. Even simple looks like M4A4 Magnesium or AK-47 Elite Build will contribute to a more enjoyable experience. If you want to buy awesome skins at bargain prices, be sure to visit us at CS.MONEY
