These Skins Got Better In CS 2!

What will change in Counter-Strike 2? First thing first, the graphics. Valve will significantly improve them compared to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. And this upgrade affects not only maps or character models but also skins. Skins in CS 2 look much more interesting than in CS:GO, believe us! Today, CS.MONEY Blog compiled the best skins that look noticeably better in CS 2 than in CS:GO. Just play the videos below to see how skins differ from CS:GO to CS 2 with examples.

And don’t forget that all these skins are available right now on our Market for purchase (and you can sell spare ones, too!). CS.MONEY is the easiest way to update your inventory. Shall we take a look at the skins?

which skins will look different and better in cs 2?

By the way, do you know how to get access to the CS 2 beta? It’s simple: behave yourself, improve the Trust Factor, and pray for good luck! No one from the Blog has managed to get a beta (yet), so we asked a friend to record videos comparing csgo vs cs2 skins. Enjoy!

But wait for a second. Do you know what will happen to skins in CS 2? If you do, skip this paragraph and continue to the beauties below. If not, here’s a brief explanation of how skins will change in CS2.

  • First, breathe. In CS2, all your skins will be carefully transferred from CS:GO to the new engine, Source 2. They will stay in your inventory.
  • Second, the most obvious fact about what will happen to skins in CS2 is that they will visually change for the better! By the way, that’s why we wrote this text: old skins will just look fresh in Counter-Strike 2.
  • Third, judging by CS2 announcement trailers, Valve will introduce tiny model changes for almost all skins. For example, different sights, hooks, triggers, and other miniature details. It’s not critical; rather, intriguing.

Desert Eagle Bronze Deco: a rare Deagle skin

To be fair, lots of Desert Eagle skins in CS 2 look better than in CS:GO. And several Deagle skins have changed noticeably. We chose to highlight Desert Eagle Bronze Deco because it’s not a very popular skin in CS:GO, which will become pretty famous thanks to CS 2. In CS:GO, this skin looks dull and nondescript, but everything changed in Counter-Strike 2. Finally, Bronze Deco shines with bronze, confirming its name. This cool deagle skin in CS2 looks just gorgeous; a definite upgrade worth noticing.

P2000 Imperial Dragon: great pistol skin

Here’s an interesting fact for you: there is only one Covert skin for P2000, while USP-S has four! Not fair, right? To correct this unholy imbalance, we decided to include a P2000 skin that looks better in CS 2 than in CS:GO. P2000 Imperial Dragon is just gorgeous. Its background got brighter, and the lines are more contrasting. A feast for our eyes!

AWP Sun in Leo: Best Rare AWP in CS 2?

In CS:GO, AWP Sun in Leo sniper rifle skin looked like a typical Industrial Grade weapon finish. Subdued tones, non-contrasting patterns… And if it weren’t for a rare collection, this AWP skin would hardly cost more than two bucks. But everything changed when this skin was updated in Counter-Strike 2. Intense purple with bright indigo lines, and also its metal parts are now shiny and glowy. So, the answer to the question of why skins are growing in price is kinda obvious, right? In the new CS 2, skins are noticeably beautiful.

AK-47 Legion of Anubis: upgraded classics

When this rare AK skin was first released, AK-47 Legion of Anubis already looked brilliant. Possibly one of the cheapest AK Covert skins out there. It draws attention with lots of detail and impressive design. Compared to other skins that have changed in CS 2, this one has not transformed so much on Source 2. However, AK-47 Legion of Anubis is just a cool skin that got a little brighter and better. Why not mention it?

M4A4 Magnesium: great budget skin in CS 2

M4A4 Magnesium is somewhat reminiscent of the legendary CS:GO skin series ‘Blaze.’ You know, the famous hot-rod-styled skins with a relatively simple but bright design. But there is a big difference: this M4A4 is 200 times cheaper than Deagle Blaze. In CS2, M4A4 Magnesium skin got a little brighter, which made one already good skin even better.

Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy: best Glock in CS 2?

Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy in CS:GO wasn’t keeping up to its name, having no sparkling or luminous effects. Since all the guns got shinier in CS2, Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy is a massive and maybe the biggest winner. Now it really lives up to players’ expectation of a ‘galaxy-styled’ skin. Its price has increased a lot, but it’s safe to say that this is one of the best and most beautiful skins in CS 2!

USP-S Lead Conduit: a great USP skin in CS2

USP-S Lead Conduit in CS:GO looked like an old ring or something ancient. Its tiny details seemed to be clogged with dust, and all because the engraving was dull. And since CS 2 increased lightning and, in general, the picture’s brightness, it helped USP-S Lead Conduit become noticeably better and get into this compilation.

MP9 Hot Rod: one of the best MP skins now

M4A1-S Hot Rod, MP9 Hot Rod, M4A1-S Blue Phosphor… These and similar skins greatly benefited after CS:GO switched to Source 2. Now, they feel more rich-coloured and literally shine, glow, shimmer, glitter and so on. They look very cool; see for yourself how every facet of this cheap MP9 skin changes in the light!

MAC-10 Gold Brick: best gold skin in CS2

Did you know that in Valve’s Skinmaking FAQ, they literally state that “gold skins are for special occasions only”? So, it turns out that MAC-10 Gold Brick seems to be an actual special occasion. It looks good in CS:GO, but the extra brightness in CS 2 made the Gold Brick really precious.

Literally Any Gamma Doppler Knife

Let’s finish today’s selection with somewhat vague advice. How do the best knives look in CS 2? In short, they’re just gorgeous. But very expensive. Literally any Gamma Doppler knife or regular Dopplers look much more remarkable. You can spend hours inspecting them, but please, try not to do it during matches because it might be dangerous! Only the luckiest of us who got invites to the CS 2 beta could test this danger, unfortunately.

You can buy these CS 2 skins at CS.MONEY or our Market, where you can trade skins P2P (without bots) and withdraw cash directly to your card! It’s the easiest way to upgrade your inventory.
