July 28 saw the worldwide release of The Suicide Squad. We know for a fact that many CS:GO fans either have already seen this movie or want to see it. Also, it received pretty good reviews.
We decided to let our imagination fly: if the Suicide Squad members were playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, what skins would they choose? And we found a device for each of the main characters. If it’s your favorite character from the movie, pick up the same skin for yourself. It would be the perfect reference!
Bloodsport – AK-47 Bloodsport
This character is the captain of the Suicide Squad. A skilled assassin, he can make a weapon out of anything he can get his hands on. For him, we picked up a device with the same name. AK-47 Bloodsport is a perfect match. Even the look of this AK, with its vibrant and juicy appearance, tells it belongs to the gang leader.
The device boasts lots of inscriptions of different fonts and sizes. The creator also decorated the gun with various icons and images, so it doesn’t need stickers.
The price of the device ranges between 60 and 80 dollars. The weapon also has a version with a StatTrak™ frag counter, priced between $142 and $253.
Ratcatcher 2 – MP5-SD Lab Rats
This lovely and quiet girl, too, was forced to fight for peace. Her superpower is having a way with rats, which comes bundled with a special device she uses to control them. For her, we picked the sum-machine gun MP5-SD Lab Rats.
What can be depicted on a finish like that? Rodents. Lots of rodents! With glowing eyes! This rat hustle bears an extremely strong resemblance to certain imagery from the movie. The creator painted this grim picture in shades of gray and black, with the buttstock and some parts dark red.
The gun is only available in its souvenir version. You can buy it for a mere 20 cents.
King Shark – SSG 08 Blood in the Water
This character struck a chord with many thanks to a combination of charisma and naivety. Big, strong, and so… simple-minded. What would behoove this teammate is a skin with flowers, unicorns, and rainbows. However, we decided to pepper our weapon finish pick with some toughness and bloodthirstiness: the skin is SSG 08 Blood in the Water.
The device boasts an accurate depiction of a large shark stalking its prey. Judging by the amount of blood we can see, the shark has already bitten into it and now only has to finish it off.
SSG 08 Blood in the Water is one of the most popular skins for the Scout. The price for the Basic version ranges from $45 to $70; for StatTrak™, you’ll have to pay between $137 and $380.
Peacemaker – Desert Eagle Pilot
This Suicide Squad member is willing to do anything to achieve peace. John Cena’s portrayal of this character was nothing short of amazing. Since one of Peacemaker’s main weapons is an elongated Desert Eagle, we focused on this very gun in our search and found an excellent option — Desert Eagle Pilot.
Similar to Peacekeeper’s pistol, most of the device is executed in chrome, while the gold stripes and a star lend the design military and patriotic flair. Combined with the chrome and the dark grip, they look splendid.
As for the price, it’s settled at $45 for Battle-Scarred copies and at $165 for Factory New specimens. There’s no version with a frag counter.
Weasel – M4A4 Tooth Fairy
Yeah, we know Weasel isn’t one of the movie’s main characters. Nevertheless, he will go down in history thanks to his weird behavior and hilarious appearance. According to the story, Weasel ended up in The Squad after committing a terrible crime (all right, no spoilers), and we found a device that’s equally frightening and appealing.
M4A4 Tooth Fairy depicts an alternate version of this mythical creature. Not the rainbow-colored one we’re so used to, but rather an intimidating and creepy monster. The fairy from this skin, drawn in its center, is unlikely to reward a child with coins for a lost tooth. The gray color scheme and the inscriptions on the magazine further contribute to the truly sinister look of the rifle.
You can get the basic version of this intimidating skin for $6–13, and its StatTrak™ counterpart for $12–40
Harley Quinn – M4A4 龍王 (Dragon King)
Our selection would definitely be incomplete without a weapon finish for this much-loved character. This striking, crazy, and dangerous heroine needs a device that’s as memorable as she is. One that wouldn’t be overshadowed by her own unforgettable looks. M4A4 龍王 (Dragon King) fits perfectly. It’s executed in three main colors, which are also the colors of Harley: red, blue, and white.
In the center of the rifle is a red Chinese dragon, surrounded by an ornament of white and blue spots. The gun looks badass and challenges the definition of “vibrant.”
Its price is $8 up to $30. For the StatTrak™ counter version, you’ll have to shell out up to $74.
