The appearance of the Falchion Case in Counter-Strike was met with mixed reactions. On one hand, it introduced a new knife and a series of tried-and-true skins. On the other, the case itself didn’t become an instant classic. Today, the CS.MONEY blog revisits the skins from the Falchion Case and shares where they stand today.
All the skins we’ll discuss are easily available on CS.MONEY. You’ll find numerous great offers on our Market, and if you have an extra skin, you can quickly sell it and withdraw funds hassle-free to your card.
Elite Drop: Falchion Knife, AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge and AWP Hyper Beast
The Falchion Knife, AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge and AWP Hyper Beast are the case’s standout items. We’ll discuss the sniper rifle later, but let’s start with the first two rewards.
While Falchion Knife and AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge aren’t considered tier-1 skins for their weapons, they’re also far from mid. They’re a way to own a decent skin without breaking the bank. For instance, $350 for a Falchion Knife Fade is a fair deal since it’s a reasonably attractive knife with unique animations.
AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge tells a similar story: a Field-Tested skin for $35 is an excellent buy.
Time-Tested Designs
When looking at Falchion Case skins, nearly a third are repeats of pre-existing designs. AWP Hyper Beast, SG 553 Cyrex, P90 Elite Build, MP9 Ruby Poison Dart and USP-S Torque belong to skin series that already featured at least once in CS:GO.
This choice was likely due to Valve’s caution after the M4A4 Howl incident, where an emergency rework was needed to resolve copyright infringement. As a result, they were more inclined to work with established skin designers who offered reliable concepts.
Among these five skins, the highlight is undoubtedly AWP Hyper Beast. It has a sick look and is relatively affordable (about $25-$30 for a Field-Tested version). Regarding price-to-quality, it’s one of the best skins out there.
USP-S Torque and SG553 Cyrex also stand out for being affordable yet stylish, featuring eye-catching colors and futuristic lines that make them easy on the eyes.
Looking for Yellow? Falchion is Your Best Case
Four skins in this case prominently feature yellow and black: FAMAS Neural Net and Negev Loudmouth may not be frequently seen due to the low popularity of those weapons, but CZ75-Auto Yellow Jacket and MP7 Nemesis look fresh and stylish. Plus, among skins for these weapons, their competition isn’t particularly fierce. USP-S Torque could also be loosely included here, though it has a fair share of gray in its palette.
In other words, the Falchion Case provides a solid base for a yellow-themed inventory. For more yellow-themed skins, check out our article:
Simplicity and Striking Geometry
The remaining skins in the Falchion Case can be described as simple but stylish. For a while, M4A4 Evil Daimyo was a hit due to its aggressive red-and-black color scheme and sharp geometric pattern. Galil AR Rocket Pop might appeal to those who enjoy red, white, and blue; some may even catch a hint of holiday vibes in it.
- P2000 Handgun, Glock-18 Bunsen Burner, Nova Ranger, UMP-45 Riot, M4A4 Evil Daimyo, Galil AR Rocket Pop
These other skins also likely have their fans, as Counter-Strike 2 developers are known for releasing skins in every theme, style, and color. You can easily explore this variety and find your ideal skin on CS.MONEY.
