Skin history
M4A4 | X-Ray was introduced into CS:GO on December 18, 2013. The skin is contained in the eSports 2013 Winter Case that was added to the shooter in the “Winter Offensive” update.
Pattern features
The pattern showcases the internal structure of the assault rifle as if it was exposed to X-rays. This allows us to discern the bullets in the magazine and a long spring in the buttstock. The gun details are painted blue, while the background is gray with light blue tints.
Effect of float
Float Value of M4A4 | X-Ray can vary between 0.00 and 0.30, which is why the skin is not available in the “Well-Worn” and “Battle-Scarred” exterior quality categories. As the weapon’s quality deteriorates, it slightly darkens and gradually loses its paint. At high float values, the paint gets partially erased from all parts of the gun.
Rarity and popularity
M4A4 | X-Ray belongs to the “Covert” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
