Skin history
Glock-18 | Fade appeared in CS:GO on August 14, 2013. It's included in The Assault Collection, containing 7 thematic weapon finishes from the map with the same name. This collection was introduced to the shooter in the “Arms Deal” update.
Pattern features
The pistol's slide is covered in multicolored paint with a gradient transition from cool shades of purple to warm shades of yellow. The rest of the gun is black.
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines the distribution of colors in the gradient. The “Absolute Max” pattern, featuring a predominance of purple color across the entire surface of the slide, is the most precious. The “Max Fade” variant, where all three colors are evenly distributed, is less valuable. The “Full Fade” variant, dominated by yellow and pink shades, is also highly valued. The most common pattern is the “95%”, which has less purple color.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item can vary between 0.00 and 0.08, allowing the skin to be obtainable in only the first two exterior quality categories. Because of the narrow scale of possible float values, wear hardly affects the look of the weapon. At the maximum possible float value, small scratches are visible on its muzzle.
Rarity and popularity
Glock-18 | Fade belongs to the “Restricted” rarity grade and is unavailable in either souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is popular among CS2 players. However, only a small part of them can afford such an expensive item.
