Skin history
AWP | Pit Viper appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on November 27, 2013. It belongs to The Italy Collection, dedicated to the map of the same name. It was introduced to the shooter in the massive “Out with the old, in with the new” update.
Pattern features
Most of the sniper rifle's surface is covered with various shades of green paint, forming a snake-like pattern (black scales outline individual spots).
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines the appearance of the formed pattern. There are no valuable pattern versions for this skin.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item varies between 0.08 and 0.50, allowing it to be obtainable in any exterior quality category, with the exception of “Factory New.” As the float value increases, the gun gradually loses paint, starting from the edges. With heavy wear, about half of its total paint is gone.
Rarity and popularity
AWP | Pit Viper belongs to the “Restricted” rarity grade and is available in a souvenir version. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
