Skin history
P250 | Crimson Kimono appeared in CS:GO on May 26, 2015. The skin belongs to The Rising Sun Collection along as the other fifteen weapon finishes, all based on a traditional Japanese theme. It was introduced to the shooter along with Operation Bloodhound.
Pattern features
The upper half of the pistol is painted black, while the lower half is gray. The entire surface is overlaid with a continuous diamond-shaped pattern that changes its appearance along the vertical axis.
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines the layout of the pattern. Versions with more red on the slide cost more.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item can vary between 0.00 and 0.80, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the float value increases, the paint gradually wears off the surface. With heavy wear, the weapon loses a significant amount of paint, disrupting the integrity of the picture.
Rarity and popularity
P250 | Crimson Kimono is categorized as the “Industrial Grade” rarity and cannot be obtained in either the souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is moderately popular among CS2 players.
