SG 553 | Gator Mesh appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on November 27, 2013. The skin is contained in The Mirage Collection that was introduced to the shooter in the massive “Out with the old, in with the new” update, along with five other collections.

The entire surface of the rifle is covered with swamp green paint, over which a hexagonal mesh is applied, as well as diagonal dark green and yellow-green stripes.

The pattern index determines how the mesh and stripes overlay on the weapon's surface. However, there are no valuable pattern variations for this skin.

Float Value of SG 553 | Gator Mesh can vary between 0.00 and 0.60, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the gun’s condition deteriorates, it gradually darkens and wears down. At high float values, the assault rifle loses about a third of all paint— the magazine wears down the most.

SG 553 | Gator Mesh is categorized as the “Industrial Grade” rarity and is available in a souvenir version. The skin is not popular among CS2 players.
