Skin history
Glock-18 | Sand Dune appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Sept.19, 2013. This weapon finish is one of 16 items that belong to The Alpha Collection. It was introduced in the game along with the launch of the Operation Bravo.
Pattern features
The base of the magazine, the slide, and the trigger have a sandy shade, while the rest of the handgun is pure brown. This design resembles an army camouflage that is used in sandy terrains.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item varies from 0.06 to 0.80, so this finish can be found in every quality. As the handgun’s condition deteriorates, its appearance changes: the paint on the surface wears off from natural wear and becomes darker.
Rarity and popularity
Glock-18 | Sand Dune is an item of the “Industrial Grade” rarity level and doesn't have a souvenir version or StatTrak kill counter versions. This skin is not very popular among CS2 players, partly because of its mundane appearance and cheap price, and appears in the game rarely.
