Skin history
AUG | Carved Jade appeared in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on December 3, 2020. It belongs to The Ancient Collection containing 19 weapon finishes themed after the same-named map. This collection was introduced to the shooter along with Operation Broken Fang.
Pattern features
Green paint with spots of jade hue on some areas of the surface is applied to both grips of the assault rifle and to the buttstock and edge of the magazine. Yellow winding lines are also depicted on the weapon.
Effect of the pattern index
The pattern index determines how the paint is applied to the surface of the assault rifle. However, this skin doesn’t have any valuable pattern variants.
Effect of float
Float Value of AUG | Carved Jade can vary between 0.00 and 0.20, meaning it’s not obtainable in the “Well-Worn” and “Battle-Scarred” quality categories. As the weapon wears down, its paint darkens slightly and gets erased from the edges. At high float values, the assault rifle loses a small portion of the paint.
Rarity and popularity
AUG | Carved Jade is categorized as the “Mil-Spec Grade” rarity and is available in a souvenir version. The skin is moderately popular among CS2 fans.
