Skin history
M4A4 | Poseidon was introduced into CS:GO on May 26, 2015. The skin belongs to The Gods and Monsters Collection that focuses on Ancient Greek mythology and appeared in the shooter along with Operation Bloodhound.
Pattern features
The picture features Poseidon, the god of the sea and waters, fighting with a pair of gray, fish-like creatures underwater. The tail of one of the creatures almost wraps around Poseidon's turquoise torso while the sea king is about to pierce it with his golden trident. The rifle's forend shows a harpoon surrounded by light blue bubbles.
Effect of float
Float Value of the item can vary between 0.00 and 0.33, so it’s unobtainable in the “Well-Worn” and “Battle-Scarred” exterior quality categories. As the weapon quality deteriorates, the gun slightly darkens, and its paint gets noticeably erased. At high float values, wear marks can be seen on a large part of the rifle's surface, and this affects the integrity of the picture.
Rarity and popularity
M4A4 | Poseidon belongs to the “Classified” rarity grade and is unavailable in either souvenir or StatTrak versions. The skin is moderately popular among CS2 players.
