Skins for Leo Messi: PSG themed inventory

Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini moved from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). This is definitely the most high-profile transfer of the year and one of the most resounding reshuffles of the entire decade. The CS.MONEY Blog is here to imagine what skins Leo would pick if he moved to PSG’s esports squad instead of the football team. By the way, the French club does have an esports lineup.

Choice of skins

In home matches, Paris Saint-Germain players wear blue uniforms with white and red stripes. For the away matches, the team has a white uniform with pink accents. In our search for appropriate weapon finishes, we relied on the combination of these colors: blue, white, and red.

Bayonet Marble Fade #412

Bayonet Marble Fade

Finding a red and blue knife was easy. We settled on a Bayonet Marble Fade with pattern #412 right away. There were two reasons. First, the Bayonet knife is big, making that red-blue transition very well visible. Second, pattern #412 of this skin has as much red and blue as possible.

Actually, there are a lot more fitting patterns. Check out the whole list on our wiki, which offers a preview and a price chart, along with some useful tips.

Specialist Gloves Fade

Specialist Gloves Fade

As for gloves, Specialist Gloves Fade is the best pick color-wise. These gloves have a blue base, and the inserts are covered in a pink-and-gold gradient. If you rummage through the patterns a little, you can find the perfect combo. The range of Specialist Gloves Fade includes a plethora of specimens with red inserts, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

You can replace Specialist Gloves with Moto Gloves Polygon. These gloves are a bit cheaper, but there’s no red color on them, only blue. Not a perfect PSG reference but still not a bad alternative.

M4A1-S Printstream

M4A1-S Printstream

Moving on to the guest uniform colors. In away matches, PSG plays in an almost entirely white uniform. Fortunately, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has white skins galore. There’s even the whole Whiteout skin series. But we decided to look for something less trivial.

M4A1-S Printstream is executed in a monochrome color scheme with a white base and black elements. It’s a great combo, but one detail renders the item truly amazing. Thing is, M4A1-S Printstream is a “pearlescent” look. Depending on the lighting, its white parts can turn various shades of pink. White and pink — those are exactly the colors of PSG’s away uniform!

AK-47 Point Disarray

AK-47 Point Disarray

Finding the suitable skin for the AK-47 was something of a challenge. There were several contenders among dozens of existing looks, but we eventually decided on AK-47 Point Disarray. This design nicely combines white, red, and blue. Just what the doctor ordered.

Some bonus points are in order here for the skin’s resemblance to the team uniform from the 90s. At that time, PSG won their UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and took the French Cup three times.

AWP Sun in Leo

AWP Sun in Leo

Of course, our AWP skin pick for this selection is Sun in Leo. And not just because it’s a blue skin, but also in no small part because Lionel Messi is often called just Leo.

Since AWP Sun in Leo has a not-overly-vibrant picture, stickers look fantastic on this weapon. Those into decorating their guns will certainly appreciate this choice. If you dig stickers too, we recommend that you consider getting a Fearsome, Web Stuck, or a Liquid 2020 RMR (Holo). They look awesome on this AWP!

USP-S Guardian

USP-S Guardian

This skin is a combination of navy blue and black. USP-S Guardian looks rather straightforward. There’s no picture on the silencer, only inscriptions. But it’s even better this way. Most of the gun is covered with dark blue, which is exactly the color of PSG’s home jersey.

We recommend that you look for Minimal Wear copies of this skin. The point is, the paint starts to fade quickly at higher float values, with the deep blue color losing its integrity.

Glock-18 Blue Fissure

Glock-18 Blue Fissure

We’ll finish our selection with Glock-18 Blue Fissure. Like many other skins for this gun, it can be divided into two parts, with the bottom one colored gray and the top one blue. It’s a simple combination, but it fits our agenda perfectly.

There’s a special feature about this item. Namely, this is one of the first skins for the Glock-18: it appeared back in February 2014! As a result, the price for Factory New specimens is a bit high, but you can find Minimal Wear copies in good condition for about $2. The difference is barely noticeable, yet the price is six times lower.

We’ve recently released a Fast & Furious-inspired selection — be sure to check it out. And don’t forget to sign up for our email newsletter to stay in the know about the latest CS:GO news and events!
