EMS Katowice 2014. The Major event, Spodek Arena, legendary stickers, and a great victory Virtus.pro… How long ago it was! Let’s add some nostalgia and remember the participants of the Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere 2014 rosters and where they are now.
Virtus.pro
TaZ
At EMS One Katowice 2014, TaZ became the only Virtus.pro player who finished the event with negative K/D, which did not prevent them from confident win.
At that time, TaZ was the Ingeim leader and a member of the Polish “Golden Five”. Three years after the EMS Katowice, there was a story with a gift Mercedes, which is considered one of the reasons for the discord of the legendary Polish team, and what now?
Now Wiktor plays in the HONORIS along with NEO, which ranks 86th in the HLTV rating on March 15, 2021 and streams a lot.
In general, since the collapse of the Virtus.pro, TaZ never left the Polish scene. And probably he’s not going to.
NEO
Filip “NEO” Kubski entered the top ten players of EMS One Katowice 2014, and after Virtus.pro’s collapse he even played for FaZe Clan for a few months!
NEO currently plays under the HONORIS tag and has an average rating of 0.93 for the last 3 months.
pashaBiceps
Gorgeous pashaBiceps, MVP of EMS Katowice 2014. He finished that event with a rating of 1.38 and a K/D difference of +75.
Now Jarosław is a streamer for Team Liquid. Also, he is engaged in the development of the Polish scene (coach of the Liquid Biceps project) and he is the CEO of pashaGamingSchool.
Snax
In 2014, Snax closed the top eight players at EMS One Katowice 2014 with a rating of 1.20. Now Janusz continues his player career in Anonymo Esports (Polish mix, #37 in the HLTV rating as of March 15, 2021).
And his career goes well! Over the past three months, Snax’s average rating is 1.13, which is the best one in Anonymo so far.
byali
26-year-old Paweł “byali” Bieliński spent 2020, or rather, his second half, in the AVEZ team, and now plays for the Polish mix StylDynow, that participates in minor online tournaments and various qualifications with an average rating of 1.06.
And 7 years ago, the Polish prospect ended EMS One Katowice with a rating of 1.31. Oh, there were times…
Natus Vincere
Zeus
The legend of CIS and the world’s Counter-Strike Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko is now the owner of the CIS Esports League, the president of the pro100 organization, and creates content around the professional CS:GO scene – interviews & podcasts on his Youtube channel.
starix
33-year-old Ukrainian, Sergey “starix” Ishchuk continued his career as a player and ingame leader in small CIS teams for a long time after leaving Natus Vincere, and now starix coaches Hard Legion.
In September 2020, Sergey received a 10-month ESIC ban for using a coaching bug, and he will miss the next two majors according to Valve’s restrictions.
seized
Denis “seized” Kostin, once a promising player, is now playing for CIS-team Trident Clan, and participates in small online tournaments. Unfortunately, Denis is not yet able to return to the tier-1 level, but he works hard and keeps grinding.
Edward
Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev played almost all of his career under the tag Natus Vincere, until the organization benched him in May 2019. After that, Edward played for Winstrike and the European mix selectah. Now Ioann is a teamless player, and the last FaceIt match of Edward was played on December 25.
There is no recent news regarding Edward.
GuardiaN
Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács, ex-sniper of Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan, streams a lot, continues to play CS:GO and certainly not going to end the player’s career!
