How to get Souvenir Tokens
Only Viewer Pass holders can get Souvenir Tokens. You need to buy this pass separately for every Major. Once you have it, there are two ways to get tokens:
- buy the more expensive version of the pass that comes with three tokens;
- make correct predictions on the Pick’Em screen in the game.
There are no other ways to get tokens. You cannot trade them or buy them from another player, and you cannot buy them in the in-game store. Tokens can only be earned during the tournament, and predictions are made for each stage separately. So if you want to make picks, you better start early.
How to get the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Coin?
All pass owners get a commemorative coin at the end of the tournament. It comes in one of four rarity levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. Once you get it, you can display the coin on your profile.
The coin levels up as you get more correct predictions. Going from Bronze to Silver or Gold is relatively easy, but Diamond medal owners are super rare. Stats show that only about one in a thousand people who make predictions get that Diamond coin.
StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Souvenir Packages
Besides upgrading your medal, correct picks also give you Souvenir Tokens. Each token can be swapped for one Souvenir Package. These packs are cases with skins from the map collections. They open without a key, have no knives or gloves, but do contain ultra-rare souvenir skins.
At the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, you can get one of seven Souvenir Packages for these maps:
- Ancient;
- Dust II;
- Inferno;
- Mirage;
- Nuke;
- Overpass;
- Train.
You make the trade on the results prediction screen. You can choose a match and a map. The souvenir skins come with stickers of the teams that played, plus the Major and map logos. You can actually get these packs without tokens too, by buying them directly in the game menu.
Important note: at the last Major in Austin, the playoff souvenir skins were different. They had special keychains with highlights and cool moments from the Major. Some of those charms can be worth 10 dollars or even more.
Which StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Souvenir Packages are the best to pick?
Short answer: any of them. All packs cost about the same and have extremely expensive skins inside. So if you want to open some, just grab a couple from a match featuring your favorite team. If your goal is to gamble and feel the thrill, the best Souvenir Packages are:
- Budapest 2025 Mirage Souvenir Package;
- Budapest 2025 Dust II Souvenir Package;
- Budapest 2025 Ancient Souvenir Package.
These packs contain the most expensive souvenir skins. However, getting them isn’t just hard, it is very hard. The chance of getting a Red souvenir skin is about 0.0256%, or roughly 1 in 4000. That is ten times harder than pulling a knife from a case!
Another option is to hold onto the packs as an investment. But looking at recent Majors, you might have to wait years for the price to go up. If you have the patience, this is a valid move. Price growth depends on the map rotation, but that is entirely up to Valve and impossible to predict.
