TLDR: We found the hacker, fixed the security issues, restored the site.
Our team is working on restoring CS.MONEY so that you could use it just as always. Right now we’re working on getting the stolen skins back to their owners. Our team has found the hacker and negotiated to get the accounts back under our control. We have so far returned half of the stolen skins. If your item is among those, it will be available for all types of operations on the site right after its trade lock expires.
Can CS.MONEY be used like before?
Before getting the service back to normal functioning, we want to make sure the site is safe and stable. We’ve temporarily limited some functionality and introduced trade limits to protect the prices from speculative fluctuations.
Without making a deposit, you may spend up to $100 from your CS.MONEY balance per day. If you want to spend more, you may top up your balance for the missing sum or trade some of your skins – their sale value will be added to your limit.
The limit is increased on a daily basis. If you’ve not used up your balance on a certain day, the next day your limit will still increase by $100.
You may make deposits on CS.MONEY as usual, with no restrictions. The top up bonus remains the same: 35% for new users, and 30% for all following deposits.
Store Mode continues functioning without restrictions.
What about security?
We’ve learned an expensive and good lesson. CS.MONEY skins are under no threat now, we have dealt with the security exploit through which the MA files were stolen. We are working on returning the skins to their respective users as soon as possible. If for some reason we can’t return your skins, their price will be fairly compensated.
Thank you all for your support, and thanks to our clients for their patience. We are returning to the best community of the best game. We’re back with you again.
