Despite Counter-Strike 2 being available to a very limited amount of players, we can’t help but start focusing on such an important aspect as CS2 skins. With Source 2 having changes in lighting and visuals, most skins started to look different, even stunning. In this article CS.MONEY Blog names ten CS:GO skins that look better in CS2.
Since all your CS2 skins are transferred from Global Offensive, you can buy them now, beforehand. Explore and compare CS2 and CS:GO skins on our special landing page: visuals, prices, tips, and even a bit about investments! Click!
It’s worth noting that most of these skins are Anodized-finished, meaning they’re metallic, steel. They also have numerous engravings and intricate details. These are the main points where CS2 vs CS:GO skins differ, so watch our comparisons below.
Desert Eagle Kumicho Dragon
Desert Eagle Kumicho Dragon is one of the oldest skins for Desert Eagle. This amazing Deagle skin has the potential to become even more popular in the new game because the dragon engraving will look fantastic. Among all the beautiful skins in CS2, especially those tied to Eastern themes, Kumicho Dragon would be the best.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: Desert Eagle Kumicho Dragon Field-Tested for ~$17.
M4A4 Royal Paladin
M4A4 Royal Paladin has an exciting design concept: its bronze base is adorned with numerous carved patterns, and the grey metallic parts also have intricate detailing. Royal Paladin was considered a clumsy skin before, but in CS2, its peculiarity will be highlighted!
CS.MONEY’s Choice: M4A4 Royal Paladin Minimal Wear for ~$25.
AK-47 Cartel
One of the most promising skins for AK-47, AK-47 Cartel, will delight us in CS2 with crisp and appealing engravings. It is an ideal choice for the classic design enjoyers, which, combined with its reasonable price, should become a decent option for CS2 players.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: AK-47 Cartel Field-Tested for ~$7.5.
Glock-18 Brass
Released in the Dust Collection, in the ancient times when skins weren’t as bright and interesting, Glock-18 Brass was reborn in CS2. Source 2 and its new graphics can breathe new life into the brass textures easily. It looks simple and promising, and goes well with most gold stickers!
CS.MONEY’s Choice: Glock-18 Brass Minimal Wear for ~$35.
AWP Exoskeleton
For some reason, people still haven’t started buying this skin. Exoskeleton costs too little to be overlooked, and this awesome AWP skin receives a significant visual boost in CS2. Intricate patterns and detailed elements on AWP Exoskeleton‘s body will pleasure you.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: AWP Exoskeleton Field-Tested for ~$2.5.
P250 Muertos
One of the best skins for P250 in CS2. It’s lovely but lacks a couple of metallic-painted parts and engravings. Instead, it has gradient transitions from red to black at the bottom. P250 Muertos‘s detailed pattern, however, is more visually appealing in the game’s new version.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: P250 Muertos Minimal Wear for ~$6.
Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy
This pistol’s colouring consists of infinite microscopic metal dots! With the new version of Counter-Strike, Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy takes on a completely different, much cooler look. Hence, the biting price.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: Glock-18 Twilight Galaxy Field-Tested for ~$180
M4A4 Bullet Rain
Another skin that has improved visually. The side stripes, along with the detailed pattern, look stunning. But don’t stand under fire! Anyways, it’s worth noting, though, that M4A4 Bullet Rain doesn’t wear well, so it makes sense to overpay for a Factory New option.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: M4A4 Bullet Rain Factory New for ~$65.
USP-S Monster Mashup
USP-S Monster Mashup stands out from the mentioned skins, but it has neon lines and elements that will come to life with new colours in the Source 2 lighting. Terrifying and funny altogether!
CS.MONEY’s Choice: USP-S Monster Mashup Field-Tested for ~$20.
Five-SeveN Berries And Cherries
Lastly, let’s discuss a less obvious skin. Firstly, this Five-SeveN features different patterns with several (80, 576, 666) reminding of Blue Gems from the Case Hardened series. Secondly, this pistol is often used in Trade Up contracts to get AWP Fade, which also received a significant visual buff (yet, it’s not that good for our compilation!). Finally, this skin fits very well with the new Source 2 lighting. All of this creates an up-and-coming option in Five-SeveN Berries And Cherries.
CS.MONEY’s Choice: Five-SeveN Berries And Cherries Minimal Wear for ~$80.
We can speculate infinitely how skins will look in CS2, but hopefully, each of us will soon be able to see all the improvements. With that being said, you can already enjoy the game with cool skins. Visit CS.MONEY and build your perfect inventory!
