Charms Patterns in CS2
Charms in CS2 are similar to skins, but with some differences. Let’s start with talking about the differences. Charms do not wear out and cannot be used in trade up contracts. And the number of their patterns is much greater. Regular skins have 1000 patterns, charms have 100,000 patterns. Yep, that’s right, one hundred thousand patterns.
Charm patterns in CS2 affect their looks. This can be a change in the color of the entire item or part of it. If the color changes, the change is similar to gradients/fade skins. For example, if a charm with pattern #12500 is yellow, and with pattern #25000 is green, then the closer to #25000, the less yellow and more green there will be. And vice versa.
The effect can also change. For example, one charm can shine brighter or be duller. The community has not yet come to an unambiguous rating of patterns for charms/keychains, but favorites have already appeared. For example, Lil SAS with red eyes, these are patterns with a number up to 2000.
Small Arms Charms Patterns
Small Arms Charms can be knives and guns that are found in the game. Among them are just the usual knives, AWP, AK-47, M4 and USP-S, as well as Tec-9.
Placing Charms in CS2
You can only attach one charm to each weapon. You can’t attach it everywhere, also. For example, you can’t hang a charm on a magazine but you can hang it on some other moving parts of a weapon. Also, charms can’t be hung on grenades, gloves, and knives.
To remove a keychain, you need a special item sold in the shop. You can buy it or get it in a weekly drop. If you remove a charm in CS2, both the charm and the skin remain. In other words, when buying or selling a skin with a charm, you should consider the cost of the latter as well.
