CS2 has a huge number of amazing skin designs. Some of them are born purely from creativity, but sometimes creators want to show respect to inspiring things from real life. The CS.MONEY Blog shares several great examples of this.

Play CS2 by your own rules: be the star of the server with cool skins! And where can you get those skins for a good price? Of course, on CS.MONEY!
SG-553 Integrale and Dual Beretta Twin Turbo

Both skins were added by Valve as part of the Inferno 2018 Collection. The artist was clearly inspired by rally racing, using iconic Lancia rally cars from the 1970s and 1980s as a base. The SG-553 is inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale, while the pistols are based on the earlier Lancia Stratos HF. In both designs, you can spot references to the cars themselves and their sponsors.
FAMAS ZX Spectron

This skin was released in memory of Sir Clive Sinclair, a British entrepreneur and the founder of the company that gave the world the ZX Spectrum, a legendary computer that influenced technology development worldwide. The skin design directly references the look of the “Speccy,” and the name Sinclair, even with a slightly changed spelling, leaves no other interpretation.
Sir Clive Sinclair passed away on September 16, 2021. The FAMAS ZX Spectron appeared five days later, with the launch of Operation Riptide on September 21. The weapon’s description includes the line: “Clive would be proud.”
Negev dev_texture

We continue the programming theme, this time on a smaller scale. The creator of the skin, emkay, mentions the aim_texture map as inspiration. Both the map and the machine gun are essentially made from textures used for game development on the Source engine. It is a funny reference skin for a very situational weapon. Want to know how to play with it? We have already prepared a detailed guide.
XM1014 Ziggy

“Ziggy played guitar
Jamming good with Weird and Gilly
And the Spiders from Mars”
The creator of this skin, The Honey Badger, was inspired by David Bowie’s legendary album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars when designing the abstract pattern. Rolling Stone ranked this album 35th on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”
Interestingly, the color scheme of this shotgun was inspired by… the Joker. The Honey Badger wanted to add chaos and anarchy to the pattern, and the signature purple color of the supervillain had never appeared on this shotgun before.
Glock-18 Vogue

Let’s move into the world of fashion. By the way, did you know that the word “style” translates to Vogue in French? The fashion and lifestyle magazine has existed for more than 130 years. It started as a newspaper and later became a massive cultural icon.
The eyes painted on the Glock reference one of the magazine’s iconic covers. In May 1961, Sophia Loren “appeared” on the cover, or, more precisely, only her eyes and lips were shown.
AK-47 Leet Museo

At first glance, it is clear that this rifle is all about art. But whose art exactly? The answer becomes obvious when you find the original Workshop name of the skin, AK-47 Pablo. This skin is a full tribute to the work of the great Pablo Picasso. Now you can not only land stylish headshots, but also educate your teammates.
M4A1-S Emphorosaur-S

If Leet Museo is inspired by painting, Emphorosaur-S clearly comes from cinema. Jurassic Park is a classic of modern film history, so it is no surprise that its iconic imagery found a second life in CS2, even if it is in the form of a skin.
Glock-18 Block-18

Let’s finish the article with a skin that reminds many players of a favorite real-life toy. Construction sets in general, and LEGO in particular, have been making people happy for almost a hundred years. CS2 skins have not existed for that long, but they definitely make the game more fun. Don’t rely on weekly drops and luck, buy skins at low prices on CS.MONEY!
