You may not have known, but it’s still 2020 in China. Just kidding. Chinese New Year is a festival of a slightly different kind.
The Lunar New Year is now so deeply rooted in our culture too that we needed to compile a selection for the occasion. Embrace the Asian esthetics, boy.
CZ75-Auto Xiangliu
You won’t find anything more Chinese for this holiday. The CZ is the height of fashion yet again, so you might as well grab it right now — why not? This ultimate purple device that tells the story of a snake god is pure chic.
At various times, this device has been used by some true legends of professional CS:GO: flusha, Liazz and Twistzz (whom, I hope, we’ll get to see in FaZe Clan soon enough).
You’ll have to pay between 5 and 10 bucks for the regular version of this device, and between 10 and 30 dollars for its StatTrak counterpart.
AWP Silk Tiger
This skin is literally the embodiment of everything Chinese — for a number of reasons. First, the tiger is a traditional Chinese animal, and second, silk, a most beautiful type of fabric, originated in that very country. And don’t forget about the Silk Road, the legendary caravan road. CS.MONEY educational — one way to brush up your history.
AWP Silk Tiger was released just before the end of 2020, so we haven’t yet spotted it in anyone’s hands — small wonder. Still, this blue-tiger beauty will surely prove itself this year, no two ways about that.
To own Silk Tiger, you’ll have to pay a pretty substantial sum: between $100 and $450. No StatTrak option in this case.
M4A4 龍王 Dragon King
For that perfect Chinese-New Year spray, we need something truly Chinese. Luckily, we have this awesome device right here at our disposal. Come to think of it, this legend is turning six years old this year. A dragon’s life is just beginning at this age, and it’s high time you learned how to spray with it.
Do you follow esports? If you do, you must’ve seen how RpK and gla1ve showed their A-game in unreal scenarios, possibly even in matches against each other. After all, Team Vitality and Astralis are going head to head for first place in the HLTV top.
The Chinese dragon is quite pricey: from 10 to 29 dollars for the regular version, and from 21 to 65 bucks for StatTrak.
Glock-18 Dragon Tattoo
A little minimalism is always in place in your inventory. An awesome black-and-gray Glock-18 that depicts a small black Chinese dragon. This skin is inconceivably old and legendary — it appeared on August 14, 2013, in the very first skin collection ever.
suNny, twist, RpK — do these names ring a bell? All three of them have used this amazing Glock at one time or another. Join the army of pros!
However, joining will be a bit expensive: $37 to $43 for the regular version, and $67 to $80 for StatTrak.
P2000 Imperial Dragon
Some CT vibes are needed in our selection too (there was only this one M4A4 above). If you want the power of China’s emperors in your hands, this gun is what the doctor ordered for you. Only an imperial dragon can look as splendid as this red-brown-orange pistol.
How long have you been following BIG matches? XANTARES is a genuine destruction machine with that gun, not to mention Liazz and Brehze from Evil Geniuses. These guys are all big fans of this skin.
Oh, and its price isn’t too high, so you can buy it soon. The regular version costs 2.5 to 7 dollars, and StatTrak 5 to 20.
P90 Emerald Dragon
拉什 B, 同志們. That’s something to the effect of “Rush B, mates!” It’s the perfect device to capture the plant site at lightning speed, and just look at that dragon… P90 Emerald Dragon is simply gorgeous. If you’re into quick action (to the point where you don’t even know what’s going on), there’s no better gun to opt for.
It appeared along with Operation Bravo on September 19, 2013. Over time, P90 Emerald Dragon has felt many legendary hands.
A really expensive P90. You’ll have to fork out between $70 and $260 for the regular one, and between $106 and a thousand dollars for the StatTrak option.
Ursus Knife Tiger Tooth
To let our enemies know who they’re fighting, we need the prettiest knife of all. And we’ll consider Tiger Tooth the most Chinese and awesome.
This knife in your hands shows to everyone around you that you actually fought a tiger and took one of its teeth as a trophy after defeating the beast. Few people would want to ascertain whether this story is the truth or not.
