SG 553 | Tiger Moth by The Honey Badger appeared in CS:GO on December 8, 2015. The skin is contained in the Revolver Case that was added to the shooter in the “CS:GO’s Winter Update.”

The design of the carbine mimics the coloration of a garden tiger moth species (Arctia caja). The weapon's forend resembles the upper pair of insect wings, while the receiver, magazine, and buttstock resemble the lower pair.

Float Value of SG 553 | Tiger Moth can vary between 0.00 and 1.00, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the gun’s condition deteriorates, it noticeably darkens and gradually loses its paint. At high float values, the paint significantly fades and is erased from most of the surface, primarily from the forend, magazine, and pistol grip.
