M4A4 | Griffin appeared in CS:GO on November 11, 2014. The skin belongs to The Vanguard Collection that was added to the shooter along with the operation of the same name. On December 18, 2014, the skin's appearance was changed due to the copyright infringement.

The center of the assault rifle features a brown griffin, a fantastic flying monster with a bird's head and a lion's body. The dualism is manifested not only in the appearance of these creatures but also in the symbolic meaning. Traditionally, they are associated with the sky and the earth and with good and evil. Feathers of the griffin can be seen on the forend and the buttstock. The background of the picture is dark gray.

Float Value of M4A4 | Griffin can vary between 0.00 and 0.80, allowing the skin to be obtainable in any exterior quality category. As the weapon wears down, it gradually darkens and loses a small amount of its paint. At high float values, the left wing of the monster and the claws on the magazine get slightly erased, but overall the picture retains its integrity.

M4A4 | Griffin belongs to the “Restricted” rarity grade and is available with the StatTrak kill counter. The skin is moderately popular among CS2 players.
